Lovely building
Room 3 was roadside and window let so much traffic noise in it was as though the window was open and found it difficult to sleep
Bathroom grout needs attention very loose tiles
Great view over the lake from our room. Hotel had history but was completely modernised and comfortable.
Car park charge felt a bit unpleasant
The position of the hotel was excellent for our holiday needs. Grounds beautiful and overlooking the lake. Staff very friendly. The toiletries were exceptional alongside the wonderful food at breakfast.
There was a grounds map on the reverse of the hotel information sheet informing us about breakfast and swimming pool times. I wish our attention had been brought to this; I would have explored the trail and viewpoints.
The location is spectacular. The rooms, service and food amazing.
We were a party of 6 and plus toddler. We couldn’t get a spa package. We assumed we would have access to spa facilities until we arrived at the venue and read the detail. Spa really needs to be pre booked at £70 per person for 3 hour slot.
