Cons:

Dissapointed to find that the room price didnt include the cost for use of the swimming pool for which the hotel wanted to charge £30 per person extra. It would be understandable to shcrge for spa treatments but not the pool itself

Convenient if wanting a stay just outside the north of Birmingham.
Pros:

Nice location with comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Cons:

To charge extra for the swimming pool when staying 2 nights with a high entry cost was disappointing. We would expect this within the price, or a notional extra cost. It was also cold in the reception areas of the hotel due to the air-conditioning - like being in an American hotel.

Best accessible room
Pros:

accessible room really good . could't use the wash facilitys in the accessible bathroom as the basin had no plug . had to use the standard bathroom to wash. Loads of room for a wheelchair. The fact it had 2 bathrooms was something I have never come acroos before . Comfy chair to sit in to watch TV. Definitely one of the best accessible rooms i have been in. The bed was too high for me to get into, but the problem was soon solved witha step platform from the gym. All staff were really helpful and couldnt do enough to help

Cons:

The price of the breakfast , My son in law just had toast and was charged £19 . Should be some variation of prices , so if you don't want a full breakfast , it doesnt cost the earth. I love a cooked breakfast , but because of this we didnt stop for breakfast on our second morning

Perfect hotel, perfect weather, perfect stay.
Pros:

Lovely clean and cool room for the heatwave. Loved the little touches such as the sweets, water, chocolate and biscuits in the room.
Breakfast was really scrumptious.
All the staff were friendly, approachable and attentive.

Pleasant enough but disappointing
Pros:

Very clean and comfy. Good WiFi and parking. Lovely reception staff and breakfast staff. Good a/c welcome in the heat.

Cons:

All designed around the spa and venue vs just hotel guests. There’s an additional cost to use the facilities for 3 hours max per day, even if you only want to sit outside in the sun. There is nowhere else that’s pleasant and sunny to be able to sit outside and relax in which was both surprising and disappointing.
Reminded me of a 1980s motel with extra facilities if you’re interested in paying ott for them on top of your room. Bar staff very gruff. Nothing like Fairlawns Spa in South Africa incase you wondered…
