The room was comfortable with plenty of storage space. Very nice evening meal on our first night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space available.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but I would say it was pricey for midweek.
Friendly helpful staff, great facilities
All of the staff were so friendly, the room (junior suite) was amazing and so clean. Really recommend the short rib from the restaurant. Lovely grounds to the hotel too. Will definitely be returning!!
Absolutely nothing
The room was spacious and comfy and dinner at the restaurant was amazing!
Unfortunately, there was a function on at the hotel on the night of our stay, and the music was extremely loud. I did raise this with the staff, but it seemed there wasn’t much that could be done, so I simply had to wait for it to finish. It was disappointing, as you would expect a hotel and spa like Fairlawns to have given more thought to their guests in this situation. I would imagine this must happen often because there is a separate function room attached to the hotel, which makes me wonder how this is typically managed, particularly on weekends.
everything went well except the curtains in the bedroom !
The Roman Blinds in the bedroom mean that light comes into the room from dawn. I think this is unacceptable at the price point. I must not be the only guest that has complained about this.
Please confirm that proper curtains will be installed in the near future.
The room was quiet and comfortable, with a lovely big bed and other facilities.
Unfortunately the kitchens closed quite early (21.00) and so no room service after that time. We had travelled all day from the south of Ireland and so did not get to the hotel until very late.
Food and Spa was amazing.
Excellent Breakfast
Always a favourite place to stay and each time we visit the experience just improves …

Location, beds were comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Had a refund for the breakfasts.
Hotel, we had recommended to family from Ireland as we were getting together for a funeral. Location was good. Breakfast at £19 per person no matter how much or how little you had confused the family, I ended up apologising to the elderly relatives, for example one ordered scrambled egg on toast. Toast crust could not be cut so was left. Quality of cooked breakfast not up to expectations. So we had breakfast at a local supermarket from then on. Day we left found a note by the toilet letting us know about saving laundry etc. bottom of note lets you know there is a shower mat in the cupboard, in our case top shelf hidden behind pillows. On day 2 had to go out and purchase a shower mat as shower was dangerously slippy. Relatives used towels to put on shower floor to stop slipping. There was a big bath in the living area of the room? Taps did not work. Family came to take photo's of it. Leisure facilities too expensive for the limited time we had available
Decor was lovely
Waiter was a bit loud.
Staff are great at this hotel this is my second visit and on both occasions was upgraded to a suite, facilities are excellent and the food is always great never had a bad meal.
