Ein sauberes, simpel-ausgestattetes Hotel mit sehr unfreundlichem Personal und durchgelegenen Betten
Pros:

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind recht einfach ausgestattet, aber sauber. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis entsprach somit unseren Vorstellungen. Zudem verfügt das Hotel über ausreichend Parkplätze und die Lage entsprach ebenfalls unseren Vorstellungen zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung. Zudem hält nur wenige Meter entfernt ein Bus, der Touristen direkt zur Lindauer Altstadtinsel befördert. Wir haben diesen zwar nicht genutzt; das Hotel ist aber logistisch gut angebunden.

Cons:

Das Hotelpersonal wirkt insgesamt sehr unfreundlich und auch die Vorab-Kommunikation mit dem Hotel via Booking.com-Chat war alles andere als höflich. Zunächst wurde uns der Check-In nach 20:00 Uhr verwehrt, weshalb wir unsere Reisepläne angepasst haben, sodass wir das Hotel deutlich früher erreichten. Als wir somit bereits um 16:00 Uhr einchecken wollten, wurde uns gesagt, dass man noch gar nicht mit uns gerechnet hätte und sich alle Gäste offenbar absprechen würden und nun alle zeitgleich anreisen würden (vor- und nach uns warteten andere Gäste). Dieser "Spruch" klang aber alles andere als lustig und war anscheinend wirklich ernst gemeint.
Auch mussten wir dem Hotel direkt - wirklich unmittelbar beim Check-In - mitteilen, ob und an welchen Tagen wir frühstücken wollen würden. Da wir Verwandte besuchen wollten und unsere persönlichen Pläne noch nicht finalisiert hatten, wurden wir darauf "hingewiesen (!)", dass wir ja bestimmt ein Smartphone hätten und unsere Verwandten ja direkt anrufen könnten um zu klären, ob wir denn morgen oder übermorgen im Hotel frühstücken wollen oder eben nicht.
Insgesamt hat man sich als Gast beim Check-In nicht wohlgefühlt. Wir haben uns nicht wirklich getraut, weitere Fragen zum Hotel oder zur Umgebung zu stellen, da die Rezeptionistin eine Laune ausgestrahlt hat, die keine Fragen mehr zuließ. Wir haben einen so unfreundlichen Empfang wirklich noch nie erlebt.

Zudem waren die Betten leider sehr durchgelegen. Auf beiden Matratzen hat sich in der Mitte eine Kuhle gebildet, sodass das Schlafen nicht wirklich erholsam war.

Pros:

Ich wollte gerne ein Zimmer nicht zur Straße hin, da die Einzelzimmer dies nicht bieten, bekam ich netterweise ein Doppelzimmer.
Die Gastgeber waren stets sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und das Frühstück sehr gut.
Mit dem Bus konnte man die Insel-Altstadt gut erreichen-die Haltestelle war gleich beim Haus.
