Good value for money in a lovely area
Pros:

The location was lovely in the middle of what felt like a residential area. All the necessities were close and we never felt the walk to the station to be too long.
Washer and dryer on the ground floor was a bonus, although hard to dry.
A lot of space for Tokyo.

Cons:

Mattresses were very hard.
No kitchen towels for drying the kitchenware.

Great spacious apartment in lovely quiet area of Tokyo
Pros:

Such a great, spacious apartment for Tokyo! In a quiet residential area between Ueno and Asakusa which we loved. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Had everything we needed and loved staying here. Great value for money too.

Adresse pratique pour visiter Tokyo
Pros:

L'appartement est spacieux et bien placé pour visiter Tokyo.

Cons:

L'absence totale d'accueil n'est pas très agréable. Les photos ne correspondent pas du tout : on était dans un appartement moderne alors que les photos montraient un appartement traditionnel. L'équipement de la cuisine est vraiment juste, il manque des éléments de vaisselle (par exemple, il n'y avait qu'une seule tasse à café).

Disappointing, would not stay again
Pros:

The location is good to experience a genuine Tokyo neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious by Japanese standards... one large room with a bed, sofa and coffee table and a kitchen area with a stovetop, sink and microwave. There is a large deck. The air conditioning is excellent in the heat. It was 30C for the three nights I was there. It is quiet.

Cons:

The bathroom is musty, the shower curtain is dirty and mouldy and needs replacing, the hand soap ran out in a day, there is one small towel rack in an awkward spot. There is a kettle but no cups. The kitchenware is lacking and not enough for a two-place setting. The large deck would be a nice place to sit in the evening but there are no chairs. There is no drying rack. There is only one small mirror in the bathroom. The bins are confusing and the lid on one didn't shut. The mattress is hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. There are only two usable plugs. There is no bedside table. It's a long walk to Ueno train station.

Spacious and modern room in quiet Uneo.
Pros:

Nice and spacious room. A rare thing in Tokyo I believe. Modern and clean. In a quiet part of Uneo. 20 min walk to Uneo Station. 10 min walk to the nearest metro station. It is a staffless hotel, so you are on your own.

Cons:

It has single layer windows so you can hear noises from the street. But since it is a residential neighborhood the noise is minimal.
