Good location & lake view: solid value.
Pros:

Limited English, but staff was good with goog translate. Good location - close to bus depot, lake, grocery, fresh market, many restaurants. Small balcony, but good lake view from 3rd & 4th floors (worth the extra fee). Wifi was ok - cut in and out a lot, but it worked. City/lake view - NOT the famous rice terrace Sapa mountains.

Cons:

Next door is a "party hosting" restaurant. Pretty noisy on weekends until late. With balcony door closed - no problem. No elevator.

Bad
Cons:

We stayed for three days at Lito Hostel. On the second day, my father and I went for a trip to the waterfalls and when we returned to the hotel we were informed by the hotel owner that he had moved our things to another room without asking or informing us! Among other things, we had valuables and money in the bags. Everything was messy in the room and they just touched our things. Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my life. When we told the hotel owner that it was really wrong to do that, he just ignored it and acted as if it was a legitimate thing. This is an invasion of privacy. I do not recommend you to stay at this hotel.
