Chambre vaste et bonne literie.

Salle de bains certes très grande, mais plutôt digne d'un hôpital ou d'une clinique, totalement sinistre.
Vue de la chambre à quelques mètres sur la maison d'en face.
Insonorisation perfectible.
Comportement du personnel type "accueil à la ferme" : le matin de notre départ, on frappe à notre porte à 10h30 et la dame me dit : "Mes collègues ont oublié de vous faire payer hier soir. Je suis seule à faire les p'tits dej' et les chambres. Venez me voir au 2ème étage quand vous serez prêts..."
Le parking est à 400 mètres de l'hôtel.
Tout cela pour 141 € par nuit, sans le petit déjeuner ou plutôt le "p'tit dej" pour reprendre la formule locale.
Très bon accueil, bon emplacement, hotel confortable.
Nous comptions diner dans l'établissement mais n'avions pas pensé a réserver. L'hotel nous a contacté quelques jours avant notre séjour, mais pour nous dire qu'ils étaient complets pour le diner. La démarche de nous avertir est appréciée mais une proposition de réservation avant d'être complet aurait été encore meilleure.

We were fortunate to find a parking space in street outside. Parking was available at approx 200m from hotel but would not have felt very comfortable leaving car there.

Le manque d'ouvertures. J'aurais aimé voir les paysages et les vignes depuis la chambre.
Le calme , la qualité de la literie, la Clim qui ne fait aucun bruit , la chambre spacieuse et surtout le restaurant qui est fabuleux
Rien . La 4G ne passe pas très bien dans cette région mais le wifi de l’hôtel est très bien
A lovely and unpretentious hotel in Chavignol. Bedroom and bathroom were both large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very good throughout from reception to the bar, restaurant and breakfast. The standout of this hotel was the exceptional cuisine. The menu choice is limited to fish or meat but the quality and presentation were absolutely fantastic, and superb value. The hotel also offers complementary wine tasting in their own cellar, which has a very extensive selection of fine local wines.
There were a few creaks and groans from the bar or kitchen equipment below our bedroom during the night, but I am a very light sleeper. Most normal people probably wouldn’t even notice.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff plus a fabulous restaurant.
Not being shown the room properly or that the bed was up a flight of stairs. The mirror for the bedroom was at the top of stairs and not easy to use. I have stayed at the hotel a number of times, but the person on the desk did not seem to understand that as we are now in our 80s, we cannot clamber around on internal staircase.
