Reception should be more helpful
Pros:

Breakfast is good . Staff in the restaurant were very nice and polite. Rooms are comfort.

Cons:

Windows and balcony doors in the room can not open at all, which makes air very tough! Reception staff are not so helpful and they do not allow to sit in the lobby after 11.00pm,you have to go to your room. Swimming pool you can not use if you don't have a swimming cap. They don't provide it for you. So basically you pay to have swimming popl and you can not use it .

Disappointing stay – poor value for money
Cons:

After a long journey, I was not allowed to drive up to the hotel entrance to check in and unload my luggage. Instead, I had to park around 100 metres away in a dirty staff parking area behind the hotel. There was, however, a clean and half-empty underground parking garage that apparently was not available to guests. I was not even allowed to take a quick photo with my vehicle in front of the hotel entrance – very disappointing, especially after travelling a long distance by motorcycle.
I had booked a room with Executive Lounge access, but the lounge was closed throughout my entire stay.
The pool was also completely closed during all four days of my stay, despite perfect summer weather. From the outside it looked clean, beautiful and inviting, but was ultimately only there to look at and take photos of.
A friend had sent me a surprise package to the hotel. He contacted me because I had not received anything, and I then had to personally go to the concierge to find out what had happened. There was no proactive communication from the hotel.
The fact that the balcony doors could not be opened was mentioned in the description, so this is not really a complaint. Nevertheless, it added to the overall impression.
My conclusion: For the price, I expected considerably more. Essentially, it was just a rather dark hotel room with a small window, while important facilities such as the Executive Lounge and pool were unavailable. At this price level, I do not consider this acceptable value for money.

豪華な建物、貧しいサービス。
Pros:

虹橋空港に近く、周りには大きなモールがたくさんあるので、Didiなどが使えれば10分ぐらいで食事や買い物ができます。上海ダウンタウンより混んでなくて、ゆったりしているので買い物がしやすかったです。設備は写真の通り豪華で、大きなプールもあります。朝食の種類も豊富で、美味しかったです。部屋もゆったりしていて、特にバスルームはバスタブとシャワーに分かれていて使いやすかったです。

Cons:

コンシェルジュが英語を話さないのには驚きました。ベルボーイは笑顔もなく、気が利いていません。質問をしても、自分の担当ではないと、分からない、で終わりです。全体的にスタッフから洗練されたホテルのホスピタリティは感じられませんでした。あまりちゃんと教育されていない印象です。

施設は豪華だと書きましたが、空調からタバコの匂いが流れてきて、エアコンを止めると部屋の中が一気にタバコ臭くなるのは勘弁してほしかったです。あと、これは海外ホテルあるあるですが、シャワーのドアが具合悪く、毎回水漏れがひどかった。

Cons:

During my last visit to Shanghai, I stayed at this hotel between 18 May and 23 May 2026. When I check in, your receptionist takes the full cost of USD 593 and charges an extra deposit. As a result, my bank card was charged USD 899,86. The receptionist explained that the deposit would be returned immediately upon check-out. But until now, the deposit hasn't been returned to my bank card!

For the Expo a good choice but nothing that remarkable about it.
Pros:

Room was a bit dated but nice size and comfortable. Hotel breakfast choice was excellent.

Cons:

Firstly check-in. I had to wait 20 minutes to check in because the 3 staff were all dealing with making or amending bookings. Then two other people jumped the queue and the check in staff did not stop them and then proceeded to check them in before me. Their system makes you pick a queue and if the person in front of you has a complicated booking then you are stuck. They didn't call anyone over to help me to save me time.
Breakfast didn't start until 7am which was too late for us for most mornings. I would have expected to be able to get breakfast from 6.30am especiallys since the location of the hotel is right by the Expo so most people are only there for work.
