Underwhelming stay. Not value for money

Location is good and the online presence shown is good

Cons:

Absolutely underwhelming. We stayed for one night at our stopover in Columbo. Looking at the hotels and properties around Sri Lanka this prominent property falls short. The stay is super underwhelming for the price paid. Rooms are very small and opposite the empty residences are an eyesore. The facilities are overpromised and under delivered. Food is extensive but lacks taste. Staff is friendly but confused a lot of times.

Amazing — this is a place you leave with hopes of returning again.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely amazing — special thanks to Neshani and Devmi for their outstanding service. The food was exceptional, and the room was impressively spacious, fully equipped with every amenity you’d expect from a luxury hotel. To top it off, they graciously accommodated an early check-in and late check-out at no additional charge.

Pros:

Chanmini helped us a lot, she’s so nice and gave us a friendly reception, made us feel like home. This one night is definitely the most unforgettable experience in Sri Lanka.
