Beautiful hotel with big, spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were very attentive to all of our needs and the breakfast was truly exceptional - proper 5 star.
There is very little wrong with this hotel. A great 5* option for exploring Colombo.
An excellent stay at ITC Colombo! The early check-in was greatly appreciated, and the room was absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully designed, and with a fantastic large balcony overlooking the city and ocean. The location is also excellent, with convenient access to the mall and surrounding attractions.
What made the stay especially memorable was the thoughtful welcome gesture. The hotel prepared a beautiful photo frame of my son and me to celebrate our father-and-son trip, along with a complimentary cake and a chocolate portrait frame. It was such a personal and heartwarming touch, and we genuinely appreciated the effort that went into making us feel special.
The breakfast was another highlight, with a great international selection and plenty of quality options. The service around the pool was exceptional, and the complimentary fresh coconut was a lovely touch.
One area that could be improved is Peshawri. The restaurant was exceptionally expensive considering the amount of food included in the fixed menu. That said, the food itself was very good, particularly the breads, and the service was excellent.

This was our second stay at ITC, and once again, the team went above and beyond. Returning to Sri Lanka to celebrate my brother’s birthday was a huge moment for our family, and the staff made it truly unforgettable.
Turning a Check-In Delay into a Memorable Experience
When we arrived, our rooms weren’t quite ready yet. Honestly, check-in delays can be frustrating, but the way the team handled it completely turned things around. Instead of leaving us hanging in the lobby, they graciously took us up to Ahasa to kick back with some drinks and bites while they finished getting everything set up. They even sent a written note and a follow-up apology email. That level of honesty and care right out of the gate set such a great tone for the rest of our stay.
Imasha – The Real Star of Our Trip
We were lucky enough to meet Imasha three months ago during our first stay, so we were thrilled to see her again. She is incredibly hard-working, polite, and just has a natural way of making you feel looked after.
What really blew us away was how she handled my brother's birthday. She didn't just help out—she took the lead! Imasha reached out to me directly before the big day, taking charge of all the planning and making sure every single detail was covered. Thanks to her, the celebration was a total hit. From the room decorations and the cake to a sweet, handwritten note on behalf of the hotel, her personal touch was on everything. She doesn't just deliver good service; she genuinely listens, takes full ownership, and creates memories you'll talk about for years. She deserves a massive round of applause and the highest recognition possible. ITC is lucky to have her!
Incredible Integrity in Housekeeping (Room 2507)
A huge shoutout to the housekeeping staff on our floor, especially the gentleman looking after Room 2507.
The housekeeping standards dropped noticeably during our stay. By the last night, we were short on mini towels, and despite requesting a room clean, the bathroom floor was left untouched—my hair from before we left was still there when we returned.

Been there a couple of times since their soft opening itself. Amazing views , decor and rooms. superb restaurants and staff.
Getting a bit too indian tastewise in the restaurants and buffets , like the local flavoursthe bestbut also some real continental and American food , italian cuisine might be interesting. pl dont make this artful luxurious hotel in to a commercially MICE hotel.

オープンしてまだ3年程度のはずだが、ホテル外観に加え、部屋の隅や床など至る所に経年劣化が見られ、建物自体の品質の低さを感じる。水回りはおおむね問題なかったが、バスタブのお湯を出した際にしばらく茶色いお湯が出ていた。
Location is very convenient.. Food was excellent.. Staff are very polite and coordinative.. Was sitting in the balcony and enjoyed the sea breeze.. excellent experience..
The rooms and the facility was having a kind of pesticidal?? or a damp smell.. facility should look for keeping some pleasant air fresheners around the walk ways as well in the rooms..

The overall experience was great. Breakfast and gym amazing! Room is very comfortable. We had a small leakage issue but the staff, especially Lakmal did everything to fix and propose compensation.
Too many restaurants offering but menus and communications can be improved.
For a brand new hotel, the lift system could have been better. Too much waiting time
