Zu teuer, Aufenthalt im Allgemeinen enttäuschend, Personal aber absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Lage gut, Personal freundlich und zu vorkommend, sauber

Cons:

Zimmer:
Teppiche, Polster und Vorhänge nach meinem Geschmack nicht zeitgemäss/unhygienisch.
Duscharmatur absolut bedienerunfreundlich und aus meiner Sicht auch nicht ungefährlich (unerwartet fliessend heisses Wasser auf dem Kopf möglich).

Frühstücksbereich:
Dekoration mit alten Bücher und anderen Utensilien über dem Essen…. nicht nach meinem Geschmack.
Das Buffet von Vorne nicht frei zugänglich…. hinten anstehen, wie in einem Selbstbedienungsrestaurant.

Korridore/Gänge:
Teppiche, sehr schlecht ausbeleuchtet (dunkel) unbehaglich, vor allem auch beim Ein/Ausgang des SPA Bereiches…. als Frau würde ich diesen Bereich im Bademantel niemals ohne Begleitung begehen.

Sprachen:
Wirst NUR auf englisch angesprochen, keine Nase spricht Schweizerdeutsch….. und das am vom Hotelinhaber hochgelobten Fusse des Matterhorns.

Pros:

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great.

Cons:

It is located right on zermatt main street. So if you are looking for a quiet/secluded stay, you will not find it here

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Fabulous hotel. Excellent location. Beautifully decorated. Staff was terrific

Cons:

We stayed in the suite on the 5th floor. The shower is in a high sided tub not easy to get in and out of. Toilet separate and you have to walk back into the bathroom to wash your hands. The suite rug, couch and area under the hangers could use a good cleaning. It was a very expensive room and should be spotless.
