we love Glasgow and this place is great if you're a bit fusty
Pros:

it was a quirky room. very large but felt tired and in need of a little attention. the bathroom/s were amazing

Cons:

it felt very old fashioned but not in a good way. the heating in one bathroom was schorchio!

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Glasgow
Pros:

Beautiful hotel
It is 4or5 old houses ( we were told) converted into a hotel
The rooms are VERY spacious
Staff are excellent from checking in to checking out every member of staff we encountered could not have been more helpful
We also ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent as was breakfast
When we go to Glasgow again I would not stop anywhere else

Cons:

Parking is an issue
We were fortunate enough to arrive on a Sunday and the parking is free on Sundays however to park during the week it is £15 for 3 hours !!!
To make matters worse the street is closed at one end so we had to turn around and the condition of the road at the turning area is horrendous ok if you have a tractor or a 4x4 but in a sports car you could do some damage to your car. How the council can charge such excessive prices for parking yet leave the road in such a bad condition really is beyond a joke. I’m surprised Hotel Du Vin have not had serious issues with customers cars.
There is free parking available locally we were told but when you have suitcases etc not sure this is practical

Pros:

בארוחת הבוקר חסרים ירקות טריים ולמרות זאת היא טעימה מאד.
החדר מרווח, נקי ונוח. המלון שקט ואינטימי ומיקומו מתאים לנו מאד.

Cons:

Expensive
Pros:

Nice to stay somewhere that has a bit of history and charm.

Cons:

No hotel parking, if you bring a car and want to park by the hotel it will cost around £50 a day. Plus in the room they have the most expensive bag of nuts and crisps in the planet. Nice hotel but the extras are a rip off.

Pros:

The staff were charming, attentive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good although the menu was unadventurous and fairly expensive. Rooms were comfortable but our first bathroom was awkward and had a number of defects.

Cons:

Overall the hotel is almost oppressively victorian with its heaily patterened wallpapers and limited lighting. It lacks a lift and getting around requires going upstairs and downstairs to access the hotel facilitius. It is not well suited to octogenarians!

Best value for money in Scotland in quality premises
Pros:

This is a quality hotel in a beautiful building with really generous sized rooms and excellent beds

Cons:

No fault other than no designated drop off area for bags
