Breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Large bathroom. Cameron was extremely helpful in planning our activities in the area.
The road in front was being paved so parking was a little difficult.
Everything. The location, the rooms, the staff.
There is not a thing we don’t like. Our favourite hotel.
Porters were lovely; all the staff friendly and welcoming; breakfast was excellent.
The room was quite hot
Location
Great staff
Outstanding level of service
No parking but that is understandably in a historical site
Charm and location
Starting to look a bit dated and worn.
It is a beautiful property, unique and classic.
Nothing
Wonderful service, location and very dog friendly.
Nothing - it was perfect
Lovely property with large bedrooms and good facilities in the room. The big fan was appreciated on such a hot day! Glad I asked ahead about the parking and the response from the hotel meant that I could park close to the hotel.
The lack of parking and currently the road works made it a bit difficult to access.
Service and location
Starting to look a bit worn out.
De kamer overtrof onze verwachtingen. Echt heel mooi met een groot, heerlijk bed, mooie badkamer, en alles wat je nodig hebt. Het personeel was ook super vriendelijk. We voelden ons erg welkom. We zouden graag eens terugkomen!
Niets, heel goed. Het was alleen een beetje warm op de kamer, maar daar was al op geanticipeerd met 2 verkoelingsapparaten. Die waren gezien de grote ruimte iets te klein denken we. Maar dit is een kleinigheid.
The ambience was relaxing
Location could be better
Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was stunning. Large, great facilities and the bed was super comfy.
More milk for the tea and coffee.
We had our room upgraded to a de-luxe room which was fabulous. Staff were very efficient and helpful. It’s a fabulous building. The location is excellent for visiting the west end. The bar was also lovely.
The radiator in the room couldn’t be switched off and was very noisy. Also the tables in the outside courtyard were filthy and we actually had to ask for it to be cleaned after our food arrived
