Finikas Resort Sfakia - Seaside Rooms

Un endroit absolument magnifique, niché dans une petite baie préservée, loin de l’agitation touristique. Ici, pas de voitures : la vie suit le rythme des bateaux et de la mer. La chambre offre un accès immédiat à une eau cristalline et le cadre est exceptionnel. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, l’authenticité du lieu et la gentillesse des personnes. Une véritable parenthèse hors du temps, exactement ce que nous recherchions.

I love my stay at Finikas, I felt like I was visiting the family. I got everything I was looking for - quite, secluded place, beautiful surroundings, the sea right next to the place, very good food, very friendly people, not many tourists despite the peak of summer season. The picturesque trial path was crossing the hotel area, what was great. You can get to the hotel by taxi boat or by curvy road. I could definitely come back.

I loved the peaceful and quiet location. It was nice to sit with a beverage in the morning on the balcony, the sea was just below the building. The owners are very warm and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean.

Las vistas

This is hands down the best place in Crete! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food at the nearby taverna is great, and the atmosphere is incredibly calm and uncrowded. The location is flawless, featuring the absolute best beach we visited in all of southern Crete.
The owners were the sweetest and most helpful hosts you could ask for. The trail to Loutro starts right at the hotel, making for a beautiful and easy 15-minute walk, but after seeing Finiks, Loutro felt so crowded and touristy.
The drive there wasn't too difficult and offered wonderful views of sweet mountain villages and a beautiful sea view on the way down. It is a long journey, though, so if you aren't up for exploring the area like we were, taking the ferry might be an easier option.
This place is truly heaven on earth, and the experience was way beyond our expectations. For the rest of our trip, we couldn't stop fantasizing about returning, as no other place even came close in comparison. We will definitely be back! In the meantime, give Booboolina the sweet cat a hug from me!
