Herzlicher Empfang, unsere Fahrräder konnten gut abgestellt werden, herrliche Lage unterhalb der Burg mit Blick über den Hafen, nah an Bademöglichkeit und knapp 10 Minuten zum Strand, die Eigentümer und alle Mitarbeiter von Hotel und Restaurants sind herzlich und freundlich, gemütliches Zimmer (wir hatten Balkon und Hafenblick), hervorragendes Frühstück à la carte und tolles leckeres Abendessen, gute Busanbindung
Die Lage war superschön. Die Bademöglichkeit gleich in der Nähe, die Möglichkeit die E-Bikes im Hof abzustellen, das Restaurant und die Qualität des Essens waren top, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.
Im Zimmer war es sehr heiss, zur Ausstattung gehörte allerdings ein Ventilator, was sehr half.
Lovely place with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff and owners were incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive. They really make you feel welcome and well looked after from the moment you arrive. The food is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!
The only small area for improvement would be the shower, as the water pressure was a little low. Apart from that, everything was lovely.

Le déjeuner est varié et excellent et le restaurant est de grande qualité. La chambre est calme et agréable.
Il faudrait un jour mettre la climatisation : cela devient indispensable, même à Jersey les étés sont trop chauds.

Absolute gem of a hotel, there is nothing not to like, the cleanliness, location, staff, ambience, food , music, decor, fresh flowers, the list goes on, in fact everything was perfect, we had a fantastic room with a balcony, there is no A/C but to be honest I cannot imagine one would ever need it, you have natural air conditioning with the breeze coming off the sea, a mini bar is the only thing we felt that would have been welcome, the owners and the staff simply cannot do enough to make your stay as memorable as possible, they succeed and it definitely rates a 10/10.

Situé en contre bas du château et sur le petit port, the moorings hotel est vraiment très bien situé.
Reconnaissable par sa façade bleue ciel qui attire le regard. L'accueil est exceptionnel, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de toute l'équipe sont au top. La chambre avec vue sur le port : 5 fenêtres pour notre chambre propose une vue géniale sur le port. La literie au top, la décoration simple et chic comme tout l'hôtel d'ailleurs ! Le plateau thé café permet de faire une pause en chambre avec une vue idéale sur le port pour observer la marée.
Deux restaurants et un coin bar :
Le restaurant the moorings avec décor raffiné propose une carte avec des produits de qualité et des serveurs à l'écoute des demandes.
The maddies (terrasse possible) décor moderne avec chaises bistrot et banquettes velours permet de prendre déjeuner, lunch et dinner avec une carte variée et toute en finesse. Egalement des pizzas faites maison de qualité !
Sur chaque table de l'huile d'olive château d'estoublon de Fontvieille (Provence) une des meilleures huiles du monde!
Le coin lounge avec un bar offrant de superbes cocktails, une carte de boissons extra et un barman vraiment sympa !

Ronduit alles. Het fantastische eten, de ontzettend vriendelijke medewerkers en eigenaars, de setting, de omgeving, het uitzicht, de comfortabele kamers. We reizen veel en deze accommodatie staat zeker in onze top 3!

Perfect location at the bottom of the castle, overlooking the harbour with an idyllic swimming spot 100m down the road. There's a personal touch to the hotel with the owners often being around to whether at the reception desk or in the restaurant. Food was excellent for breakfast and dinner.
Despite the outdoor temperature not getting beyond mid-20s, and us keeping our curtains closed during the day, our room got very hot at night. The fan was helpful to make it bearable.
Otroligt trevligt, fint & välskött hotell. Allt i toppklass. Läget optimalt i den lilla hamnen. Personalen väldigt service minded. Restaurangerna mycket bra & trevligt med uteterassen, speciellt bra service av Seth!
Värt att boka rum med balkong / havsutsikt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe!! Vi kommer tillbaka.
Saknade kylskåp på rummet
The Moorings is beautiful. A delightful spot overlooking the harbour which is full of cafes and little shops. The owners staff are all very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. If you fancy something away from St Helier this is perfect. Plenty of buses to help you explore.

Een sfeervol hotel waar je je onmiddellijk thuis voelt. De kamers zijn comfortabel en schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk en wil je me alles helpen. Het eten is geweldig! Gelegen tegenover de haven van Gorey, vlak bij het busstation. Er is een fijne zwemgelegenheid om de hoek, handdoeken liggen bij de receptie. Dit hotel en restaurant is een echte aanrader!
