Charming hotel, without loosing comfort.
Pros:

Very charming hotel, spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was nice, as was the pool. The breakfast was good with various options.

Pros:

La demeure qui donne l'impression de venir chez l'hôte, plutôt qu'à l'hotel. La chambre spacieuse avec vue dominant la ville, la salle de bain rénovée, le petit déjeuner (les œufs et le pain au top) et surtout le personnel très attentif et serviable.

Cons:

L'eau pour le thé tiède, le parking limité.

Pros:

Hotel histórico bem mantido, com boa cama e bom pequeno almoço.
O pessoal foi muito simpático e atencioso, dando nos a possibilidade de fazer check um pouco mais tarde do que as hora anunciada.

Eine Zeitreise, die uns in guter Erinnerung bleibt.
Pros:

Eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit. Die Einrichtung ist authentisch, die Uhrensammlung originell, das Frühstück gut. Die Terrasse über dem Hauptgang phänomenal. Es ist immer jemand da, wenn man was braucht und das Personal ist freundlich. Der Brunnen ist nur 1 Minute weg, d.h. gutes gesundes Wasser gratis.
Die Nähe zu Bussaco, wo man fantastisch wandern kann.

Edifício e família com história na arte de receber
Pros:

Respira-se história dentro das paredes deste palácio cheio de charme, e quem tem tempo para ler o miminho do "jornal" deixado no quarto, pode apreciar todo o enquadramento do edifício, da sua função e do carinho e cuidado com que a mesma família tem trazido a unidade hoteleira até ao séc.XXI. Jardins apetecíveis (mesmo no temporal que apanhei).
Decoração bem enquadrada com a história do edifício (pena que não tive tempo para apreciar a coleção de relógios), limpeza imaculada em todas as divisões, áreas generosas (menos no wc, embora suficiente, fruto de ser um "add-on" face à estrutura original), boa rede wifi, estacionamento gratuito, porém limitado como normal no Luso, staff atencioso e disponível no que pude verificar, e sobre tudo isto, reina a Dona Conceição (?), com 87 anos e mestre na arte de bem receber.

Cons:

Nada. E se houvesse, há disponibilidade total do diretor Nuno Alegre para ouvir de viva voz, a qualquer hora do dia.
