at 2 a.m., when I had already fallen asleep, there was a very unpleasant and frequent knocking somewhere outside the room, as if a frantic washing machine had broken down and was jumping on the floor, the staff offered to move to another room only at the beginning of 5 a.m., before that he came to us 2 times and tried to find a knock, but could not. The manager didn't even remember this situation this morning. As a result, I didn't get enough sleep and the whole day was ruined.

Fürchterlich penetranter intensiver Raumduft überall - an der Rezeption, im Eingangsbereich, im Aufzug, auf den Fluren, im Zimmer. Darunter ein muffiger Geruch, der offenbar mit der massiven Verwendung von Raumparfum neutralisiert werden sollte - das hat nicht geklappt ! Man hat Kopfschmerzen von diesen aufdringlichen Gerüchen bekommen !
Fenster im Zimmer lässt sich erst öffnen, nachdem Personal einen passenden Griff gebracht hat. Fenster im Bad (keine Lüftung vorhanden) lässt sich überhaupt nicht öffnen.
Personal insbesondere auf der Dachterrasse im Barbereich unfreundlich und nicht interessiert; wir wurden am ersten Abend eine halbe Stunde lang überhaupt nicht bedient und ignoriert.
Frühstück in dunklem Kellerraum mit düsterer künstlicher Beleuchtung ist eher unangenehm.
Unser Fazit: dieses Hotel ist zu gut bewertet; das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Roadworks outside were disappointing - one of those things that can’t be helped but was a surprise and hadn’t been notified about. We had the family room(s) and hadn’t expected rooms to face a wall. Didn’t help that we arrived about 4pm so rooms were really dark as sun had moved to the other side. Last time we’d stayed we had the same room type but on a higher floor so these rooms compared very poorly :(
I would expect to pay less for rooms with no view. Pool should be described as a plunge pool, tiny.
A few house keeping issues -
shower head can’t be directed down the way which presents a challenge, socket off the wall, knob for volume missing in one of the bathrooms

E’ un 5 stelle e i dettagli sono importanti e spero che possano essere utili queste informazioni all’hotel per migliorare perche’ tutto il resto era perfetto ma questi dettagli mi hanno lasciato piu’ la sensazione di un quattro stelle. Nel bagno la doccia era una vasca da bagno con manico per doccia. Nessun soffione e sopratutto dovevi scavalcare la parete della vasca per entrare. Non grave ma in un 5 stelle mi aspetto una doccia spaziosa adeguata. L’asciugacapelli aveva un cavo troppo corto e per chi e’ alto piu’ di 1,90 non basta. Essendo collegato alla base del rubinetto non riuscivo ad asciugarmi i capelli in piedi e dovevo inchinarmi. Il letto, per quanto spazioso e confortevole, cigolava quando mi sedevo. La camera non era “armonica”. Ad esempio c’era un quadro che si vedeva a meta’ dietro il televisore, il mobiletto del frigobar lievemente sbeccato, lo spazio per poggiare un pc portatile estremamente ridotto. La “piscina” all’ultimo piano era piu’ una piccola vasca di qualche metro quadro. La sala colazione e’ al piano sotterraneo. Non c’e’ luce naturale ma solo lampade con luce bassa. Non esattamente una bella energia la mattina. In generale tutto l’hotel e’ molto buio ma questo credo sia legato al fatto che sia una struttura originariamente non pensata come hotel.

Furniture in the room was old and beat up, scratched and dented, Doors didn't close by minibar, marble falling off wall of tub, Towel rack on the sink almost off.

Also would be expecting double sink in a $600/night hotel.

Piscina muito pequena, apenas uma sauna, não tem Spa, quarto barulhento ouve-se tosos os ruidos do WC do apartamento superior.

Que tuvimos que esperar mucho para el Check-in

My room faced a side street with a children's daycare, so each morning was very loud with kids yelling and waking me up. I know the hotel has no control over this, but I will definitely request a room in the other side when I come back to stay there.

Suggestion would be to make the rooftop terrace more accessible for guests of the hotel and have more personalised service for guests.

Had an issue with the key card to my room which meant I was unable to access my room without being accompanied by the concierge using his master key. Asked a number of times for this to be rectified but had to call down to reception a number of times before it was resolved. Staff were lovely but I was frustrated in having to wait in the room awaiting maintenance to call (they didn’t) and then having to repeatedly ask at reception to be allowed into my room was a little embarrassing. Also, when checking out, I noticed that the hold applied to my bank account was higher than the room rate and the €100 extra for “incidentals”. Luckily I noticed this and was able to ask the receptionist (again - she was excellent) to cancel the transaction and refill be for the correct amount (which again is inconvenient as €500 is now temporarily on hold in my bank in addition to the actual cost of the stay). Have to say that staff were lovely and friendly all the way through.
