Door lock was awkward. The side of the bath was too high - difficult to get into/out of. There was no grab rail. The shower made a whining noise. The breakfast was choice was poor if you didn't want a full Welsh breakfast and I kept having to ask for things to be topped up or supplied - some items had run out eg. smoked salmon one morning. No lift - lots of stairs.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Go above and beyond for any problems you have. Our tv had audio description on and paul went the extra mile to resolve it for us.
Only downside we found was no lift for disabled guests to access the upstairs rooms easier.
The food was amazing, and the prices where reasonable.
The rooms where clean and we had a beautiful veiw from our window.
The spa was a bit disapointing only 1 sauna and steam room a hot tub outside that we couldnt use because other people where in it. And stayed there for a long time. The prices of the treatments where double the prices of other places ive been to. And our bed was so hard we woke up with body pains and back ache.
Breakfast is very good and good value.
Bedroom walls very dirty with black marks, require painting with washable paint.
Dining room wood table top joints are full of old food, very poor cleaning standards.

New restaurant looks like a tacky Swedish sauna.Beds way to high for smaller people to get on fell off trying to get on.
Location was good, staff were great, food was just ok
Stayed in Room 42. Room was clean, but the corridor had a strong damp smell and the overall finish wasn't what I expected for the price. The bar area is lovely and gave the impression the rooms would be to a higher standard. A bit disappointing.
even with a power cut and difficulties with equipment the staff did a wonderful job trying to keep breakfast going for everyone. great effort by the staff
