Newly refurbished studio, great location 8 studios

It was dirty
Mouldy shower
Plastic cutlery
Two mugs one chipped
One plate
No bowels
No tea towels

The location of the property was on a main road and the main road was very busy and noise. There wasn't any curtains in the property and the blinds that were at the windows didn't block all the light out, therefore there should have been triple glazing to block the noise out and there should have been curtains up to block the light that the blinds let through. The owners of the property only work Mon - Fri and therefore were not around at the weekend, when we were staying. If an emergency would have happened there was no one around to help and we were not given any contact numbers to call if anything had happened. The car park was on the property's front and not safe to drive on and off due to the main road, and being on top of the junction of traffic lights, we were told by the owner that it was a privilege to have a car parking space, that was beside the point due to the location of the car park and the property. The shower didn't work as it should, it was either very hot or very cold and the hot water safety value on the shower didn't work. The radiator in the bathroom was on full all the time and therefore danger of burning yourself when placing towels on to dry, there was no bath towels left out and we only had hand towels to dry ourselves after a shower and the was no spare toilet rolls left in the bathroom, (we had to buy some ourselves).

Air control alarm keep beeping and the tv wasn't working.

The apartment itself was fine,l had cutlery but no crockery,the room hadn't been cleaned properly and the bathroom bin was full of sanitary towels.

There was not dishwashing soap

The bed linen could have been changed before I stayed as it was the weekend they was no staff to ask, ie if thing went wrong or if needed anything. The lighting was a bit bright, but the lamp was not bright enough

Couldn't get a picture on the TV but didn't try asking the host...should have done but read my book instead. 5 studios but only parking for 3 cars without blocking someone in.

There was pubic hair on the soap in the shower; the toilet seat was broken; there’s been water damage in the ceiling that has been poorly repaired/painted; the blinds are broken meaning they don’t close over properly and reduce privacy at night; I could hear every movement of the upstairs occupant to the point I was woken early every morning by the noise of them moving across the floor.

Bed too small was not a double , no toiletries, no cleaning supplies

Everything else. Gone off milk left in the fridge, dead flies on the floor, cobwebs all in the main living area, shower has black mould all over the bottom, shower tray was very dirty inside and out along the trim also. Walls had stains on them around the toilet area, marks on all the other walls. Plaster missing by the front door and falling off, desk had marks and dents in it. Paint missing in multiple areas. Wardrobe had 1 hanger for a week long stay. Half a toilet roll provided for a week long stay. Owners didnt want to hear anything and said there was nothing wrong with the place. Refused to help with anything or even give me a refund after falsely advertising it as newly refurbished. This is not a newly refurbished place.

As my room was next to kitchen smells did creep in when someone was cooking but I just opened the window for a short while
