Pros:

Nadat ik dit hotel had geboekt, las ik de reviews. Veel mensen waren negatief over de hygiëne, het ontbijt en de onvriendelijke medewerkers. Ook zouden de faciliteiten tegenvallen en zou het hotel ouderwets zijn. Kortom: volgens veel reviews absoluut geen vijfsterrenhotel.

Ik heb daarom nog even getwijfeld of ik mijn boeking zou annuleren. Achteraf ben ik blij dat ik dat niet heb gedaan. Mijn kinderen hebben enorm genoten!

We hadden een comfortabele en schone hotelkamer. Het ontbijt was prima en bood voldoende keuze. Bovendien was er iedere dag wel enige variatie. Het zwembad was prima en ook de speelruimte voor de kinderen vonden we erg fijn.

Al met al ben ik blij dat we het hotel zelf hebben ervaren en niet alleen zijn afgegaan op de negatieve reviews. Onze ervaring was namelijk een stuk positiever.

Cons:

Een verbeterpunt is de privacy. Tot twee keer toe kwam de schoonmaakploeg de kamer binnen terwijl wij er nog waren. De eerste keer begrepen we niet wat er gebeurde; ze kwamen binnen en begonnen direct met schoonmaken. De tweede keer kwamen ze een tafel brengen die we niet nodig hadden. Ze klopten wel één keer op de deur, maar voordat ik de kans kreeg om open te doen, hadden ze de deur al geopend. Dat voelde niet prettig.

Het meeste personeel was vriendelijk. Alleen in het café had ik een minder goede ervaring. Ik wilde een medewerker iets vragen, maar hij keek me niet aan, zei alleen: “Ik ben klaar” en liep vervolgens weg.

Ook het zwembad kan wat onderhoud gebruiken. Op verschillende plekken waren de voegen tussen de tegels verdwenen en sommige delen waren niet goed schoon. Daarnaast hing er in een gedeelte van het zwembad een urinelucht.

Pros:

Die Hotelanlage ist groß und schön angelegt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuverlässig. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die Sauna und der Roomservice. Das Essen, das wir bestellt haben, kam bereits nach etwa 20 Minuten an und war noch warm und lecker.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft nicht richtig sauber und roch sehr unangenehm, als wäre es lediglich mit Desinfektionsmittel überdeckt worden. Außerdem funktionierte die Toilettenspülung nicht richtig. Handtücher waren zunächst keine vorhanden und wurden erst nach unserem Hinweis bereitgestellt.
Das Schwimmbad ist zwar groß, ließ aber ebenfalls in Sachen Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Zudem wurde die Poolordnung nicht durchgesetzt. Obwohl überall Schilder darauf hinweisen, dass das Hineinspringen verboten ist, sprangen Erwachsene ständig ins Wasser – sogar wenn kleine Kinder im Becken waren. Die Bademeister schienen dies kaum zu beachten und waren stattdessen häufig mit ihren Handys beschäftigt.
Auch das Buffet hat uns leider enttäuscht. Die Eier waren teilweise schwarz, das Omelett war sehr trocken und der Orangensaft schmeckte, als wäre er aus Pulver angerührt worden. Hier besteht aus unserer Sicht deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf.
Unser Fazit: Die Anlage selbst, die Sauna und der Roomservice sind wirklich gut. Wenn man dort übernachtet, würden wir eher Speisen à la carte bzw. per Bestellung empfehlen und auf das Buffet verzichten.
