Excellent stay, loved this hotel
Pros:

Everything, beautiful staff, beautiful surroundings.
Awesome breakfast.
Excellent location, 2 minute walk from train station. Quick grab to town.
Loved the heritage decor
Would definitely stay again

Cons:

Fridge was just not cold enough, & could not be adjusted
Shower rose over bath was very loose & would not stay in position

Old style luxury and service.
Pros:

Pure luxury. Rooms and beds luxurious. Staff very helpful. Spa was great and well priced. Pool area lovely during the heat. Vietnamese restaurant had great, reasonably priced food.

Cons:

Final bill was confusing and discount voucher not applied correctly. It was resolved quickly though once asked for clarification.

A Grand stay at Silk Path Hue.
Pros:

Silk Path Grand is a stones throw from the river and the railway if you are arriving by train. We had taken the Heritage Train from Da Nang. The hotel is truly beautiful with attractive architecture, a fabulous pool surrounded by gardens and generally lovely public spaces. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the meals were lovely. A fabulous hotel all round.

Well priced 'French colonial style' hotel outside the CBD.
Pros:

Generously sized rooms with comfy pillows. We had to move rooms initially as our first room did not match what we had booked.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, but some parents were letting their kids run wild!! They were touching the food and licking spoons without any supervision - yuck!!! Staff didn't seem prepared to address it either....

Pool was a good temp and the outdoor terrace by the pool courtyard was lovely. However, for the size of the hotel, the pool was too small.

The gym was excellent, particularly the yoga room!

A bit of a walk to the river boardwalk and Hue's Beer St - but we saw that as a good thing. 2km max. All sorted with a Grab if it's too hot.

Cons:

The hotel is closely located to the Hue train station. While this is obvious from a map and a bonus if you're catching a train. There was a lot of noise overnight from the train station; bells ringing and public announcements - all audible from our room that was river facing! Silicone earplugs sorted the issue the next night, but we had a very disrupted first night.

Our riverview room had a shower over the bath - not a fan.

Un endroit idéal pour visiter Hue.
Pros:

Un séjour parfait dans un hôtel très bien situé. Le fitness à disposition est un plus et les chambres qui donnent sur le jardin sont tres calmes. Le petit-déjeuner est absolument incroyablement bon tout comme le restaurant. Un endroit à la décoration magnifique que je recommande.

The beds were comfortable and aircon worked well. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

Didn’t love our stay to be completely honest, we wouldn’t return to this hotel.
We booked a family room, however this ended up being a connecting room (the hotel have since updated the room description in booking.com following a written complaint which is excellent)
The check-in staff weren’t overly friendly; very different to everywhere else in Vietnam, when we checked in we thought “wow maybe this is just what Hue is like” but thankfully as soon as we went to explore we realised Hue is exactly the same as everywhere else in Vietnam where people are genuinely friendly and kind. The pool is much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe and very busy, but sufficient! Overall the stay was fine, not good or bad.
