Suprisingly good place
Pros:

Big rooms with super comfy big beds, very clean everywhere. Brrakfast selection was huge and tasty. Very good prices. They even allowed us early in at 10:00 AM.

Cons:

The lobby could be bigger for waiting guests. There is a similar named hotel so easy to missmatch, the taxi took us the wrong plave first. Also this hotel has different names in different map applications (amap,applemap,googlemap) so it was not easy to find it first.

雖然洗澡有點不便，但瑕不掩瑜，整體而言是很棒的住宿體驗
Pros:

1.旅館的服務很好，有求必應（協助掃碼洗衣、要瓶裝水、加強清潔等），態度也都很親切！
2.早餐很豐盛，中西餐都有，還會變換菜色。最喜歡現煮的蕃茄湯麵！
3.在安靜的胡同中，但走出胡同就有蠻多餐廳可供選擇。

Cons:

淋浴間的設計不好，沒有掛換洗衣物的地方，不方便穿脫衣服。然後淋浴間的水管會跑小蟲子進來。

Pros:

Чистый новый отель, было приятно находиться. Достаточно неплохой завтрак. Вкусный ресторан внизу, было удобно поесть с дороги, не выходя из отеля. Прачечная. Старбакс внизу и вкусное мороженое.

Amazing service, wonderful staff and a perfect stay in Beijing
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Beijing Downtown by IHG.

The service was excellent from the very beginning. The check-in process was extremely fast and easy, and it was such a pleasure to find staff who could speak English and communicate clearly with us, something that can sometimes be difficult to find while travelling in China.

A special mention to Simon, who helps guests with tours and travel recommendations. His English is excellent, he knows so much about Beijing, and he gave us many useful tips. We booked different things with his help and everything was perfectly organised. He really has everything under control and made our trip much easier.

We would also like to mention Linda, who took care of us during dinner. She was absolutely lovely, very friendly, kind, and always made us feel welcome. The food at the restaurant was also really good, with a nice local and authentic Chinese touch, which made the experience even better.

The rooms were also very good, comfortable and extremely clean. We really enjoyed the hotel overall. The breakfast was great and having laundry facilities available was very convenient.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.

Cons:

The only small thing to keep in mind is the location of the hotel entrance. The hotel is on a narrow local street, which actually gives it a nice authentic feeling, and getting dropped off by taxi was never a problem.

However, when ordering a taxi to leave the hotel, the street can get quite busy with people walking, bicycles, and even school traffic nearby. Because the road is quite narrow, sometimes the taxi may take around 10 minutes just to move through a very short section of the street.

It was not a big issue for us, but it is something useful to know when planning your departure time.

Excellent séjour
Pros:

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel récemment rénové.

Les chambres sont modernes, confortables, propres et calmes. De l’eau, du thé et du café sont mis à disposition et renouvelés quotidiennement. Le petit-déjeuner est un véritable point fort de l’établissement, avec un large choix de produits de bonne qualité. Le personnel de la réception parle anglais, ce qui facilite grandement les échanges et l’organisation du séjour.

L’hôtel dispose également d’une laverie en libre-service pratique. Cependant, son utilisation peut être un peu complexe pour un voyageur étranger venant d’arriver en Chine. Il faut scanner un QR code via WeChat et suivre plusieurs étapes, sans que la procédure ne soit clairement expliquée sur place. J’ai finalement dû demander l’aide d’un client chinois qui se trouvait dans la laverie au même moment.

Cons:

Le seul point à noter concerne l’emplacement. La station de métro la plus proche est un peu éloignée pour s’y rendre à pied, même si le trajet est agréable et passe par des rues calmes. Il faut compter une dizaine de minutes de marche pour rejoindre le métro. C’est largement faisable mais je ne l’avais pas anticipé en réservant et c’est parfois un peu décourageant après une longue journée de visites. Nous avons donc régulièrement pris des taxis.
