AL-Kabeer budget AC rooms

As a Western European I found the property dirty and not what I expected when I booked. No washing line available nor any shampoo or toiletries. Not what was stated when I booked. I had to buy my own washing line which I hung up in my bedroom. I spent 3 hrs cleaning the shared kitchen and fridge which were filthy. I also cleaned my own bedroom and bathroom and washed the linen as unsure when last cleaned. I bought my own cotton sheet to sleep under as I did not know if when I washed the bed linen whether or not it would be dry. The only good thing was that there was a very old and dirty washing machine that I had to clean before using in the parking area. After some cajoling I managed to get the person looking after the property to refill the washing machine liquid. All in all the local people were great but westerners whom are not Moslem should be aware. I felt that the property was being left to deteriorate until a new owner was found and that the person responsible for managing the property had his hands tied and not able to influence any decisions.

There is just one person as front desk, odd-job Man, janitor. The property is brand new so there are no problems yet. There is no ac in the common areas. The full sized kitchen has minimal rudimentary vessels so cooking is not easy. There is no sieve so tea making is not easy. The water filtration eqpt is not working since installation. Nearest only restaurant is a km away. Others are another km away, towards Hospital. Residential area around, so no tea shops nearby.
