We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Oscar’s and definitely would stay again if we visited Ballarat again.
Pros:

Great location for shopping in the city. Clean room and very comfortable bed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great meals in the restaurant

Cons:

Bathroom tap seemed to be the wrong type for the basin, the water would spray over us if we used too much tap pressure.

Central location with a cafe & pub downstairs.
Pros:

Central location. A cafe and pub downstairs. Parking around the back.

Cons:

The heating didn’t reach the bathroom and toilet so they were often freezing. The trucks or buses outside woke us up a few times in the early hours.

Cons:

Could do with some stairs at the rear of the property. We felt awkward walking through the busy dining room with our luggage.
