Tutto! Le colazioni incluse sono squisite e così anche le family dinner, cucinano divinamente. Le camere sono ordinatissime e pulitissime e comodissime, perfino i dormitori. I bagni sempre puliti e profumati. Le docce intime.
Nulla... tutto perfetto. Unica pecca la percentuale (8%) che si applica ai pagamenti con carta.. è davvero troppo alta e ingiusta.
Tukasa was the perfect stay in Popoyo, walking distance from the surf and so beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, I stayed here two weeks and can’t recommend it enough.
Nothing : )
On the positive side, this hostel is exceptionally clean, and the food and breakfast provided are really good. The physical space itself is well-maintained.
However, the management and social atmosphere fell short.
However, the management and social atmosphere fell short. The hostel is run by volunteers, which seems to impact the overall vibe. It often feels like you are interrupting them just by asking a basic question; whenever I asked for assistance or information, the volunteers seemed noticeably annoyed and unwelcoming. Furthermore, the environment doesn't feel very inclusive, making it quite awkward and isolating for other guests.
A major issue for me was how a group outing was handled. The hostel took us out for sunset drinks, which was a nice gesture, but the volunteer in charge left without ever letting the group know they were heading out. As a solo traveler, this left me stranded having to walk back to the property completely alone in the dark. The route was very dark to navigate by myself at night, which is a huge consideration if you plan on being out past sunset.
While the food and cleanliness are excellent, if you are a solo traveler looking for a professional, highly inclusive, and socially responsible environment, especially if you aren't a surfer, I would look at other options.
everything was amazing, the staff was super nice, they helped with everything all the time! and the place was a dream, 10/10, will definitely come back.
De vibe, het familiale gevoel en de infrastructuur

The hostel is beautiful!! The dorms are very comfortable, everything is super clean and the people are really nice. They organise lots of activities every day and have many possibilities for surf classes, board rental and surf boat trips. Met many great people here and had a great time. Might be my favourite hostel in my 3 months of traveling Central America!
Brilliant hostel, extended my stay. Everything was spotless during the stay, breakfast was delicious (3 choices), common areas were nice & showers/toilets were clean too. Lots of communal activities to get involved in if you want to get to know people. The ‘family dinners’ on certain days is a good idea, nice food & good to meet others (there were 30 people sat at mine). They also have free yoga sometimes, sunsets at the beach/bars, boat trips to other surf beaches & a trivia night etc. Despite all the activities, it wasn’t a party hostel and most were in bed by 10 (maximising early morning surf maybe).
Some of the staff weren’t as welcoming as others. Towels not included,
Sauber, nettes Personal, moderne dorms
