Reservations made for our Residences for 3 nights or more will require a nonrefundable deposit. The Hotel will send a secure payment link to arrange payment.

Please note that all our bedding is hypoallergenic; there is no duck or down feather bedding at The Guardsman.

Bath is only available in some rooms in the Executive Double Room. Bath is available upon request and is subject to availability.

Peaceful stay
Pros:

Very quiet & personal. Staff all lovely. Handy location. Lovely upgrade. Bed comfy and room very clean.

Cons:

No-one knew whether breakfast was included or not. Finally, all charges were removed which was great but it added stress to the stay. The tables in the dining room were always left dirty from previous guests (breakfast).

Location was ideal, service was excellent.
Pros:

Location was wonderful. Buckingham Palace literally around the corner.

Cons:

Room was smaller than we anticipated as we had lots of luggage and ours didn’t fit in the drawers under the bed.

Boutique, and super comfortable stay!
Pros:

Well appointed and super comfortable room, sound proof with no traffic disturbance given the room was front facing. Pleasant staff (Caleb and Mahmud), facilitated a smooth early check in.

A great hotel that is convenient and the best place to base in Edinburgh
Pros:

A lovely hotel that is across from the train station. You can easily walk to the Royal Mile and downtown from the hotel. The team is friendly and the breakfast, while not included, is fresh and tasty. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the in room fridge. Highly recommend.

Ideal location for main attractions but had a few issues
Pros:

The location of the property is excellent for all London attractions.
Just a short walk to Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade, Westminster, St James Park, Downing Street
The room was very modern, with touchscreen sensors for the lights.
The room was clean and tidy, as was the whole hotel. Breakfast was extra and, although obviously fresh, there were eateries close by. (We arrived at 23:00 so didn’t know the area enough to decline it)
We had a couple of issues, but the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately these issues couldn’t be put right during our stay, but we were compensated for it - thank you.
Beyoncé, Shurthi (apologies if I’ve spelt your name) and the night manager (who has recently returned to work - apologies I can’t remember his name) were specifically helpful.
Overall - we would stay here again as it was so convenient.

Cons:

On our 2nd night (around 23:30)an alarm activated - after searching everywhere, it was found on the side of the bed! The duty staff came up, and informed us that we needed to move rooms as he didn’t know how to de-activate it. Not ideal moving at that time of night but thankfully we only had to move next door!
However this room has a horrid smell that affected the whole room, but especially the bathroom. This was reported in the morning but was still there for the remainder of our stay.
My husband also had a bottle of beer from the fridge that was flat and half empty. Again reported to staff who were going to look into it.

We never usually report but there were so many little things that occurred that needed attention. The hotel was very supportive and did compensate us (as mentioned above) thank you.

Pros:

Adorei a minha estadia! O hotel é muito novo, bem localizado, próximo aos principais pontos turísticos de Londres: Palácio de Buckingham , St James Park, com vários pubs e cafés agradáveis muito próximos. A estação de metrô fica a 5 minutos a pé. Os funcionários são muito gentis e atenciosos. As instalações do hotel são novas e bonitas, o quarto tem um bom tamanho, tudo de boa qualidade e tudo funciona bem. A limpeza é maravilhosa. Não vejo a hora de voltar!

Cons:

O piso aquecido do banheiro não funcionou, mas não considero isso um problema.
