Important information:

Please note that check-in takes place at Pierre & Vacances La Rivière. Reception is open from Sunday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Guests expecting to arrive outside reception opening hours are kindly requested to inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.

The price includes accommodations, bed linen and TV. For short stays of one to six nights, end-of-stay cleaning is included, excluding the kitchen area and dishes. After booking, guests may reserve the exact location of their accommodations by contacting the residence directly, subject to availability and at an additional cost.

The following services are available at an extra charge: beds made upon arrival, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. A grocery delivery service is available during the winter season and charges apply. Paid parking is available subject to availability, at a rate of EUR 55 per week in winter and EUR 50 per week in summer; guests are kindly requested to contact the residence directly to check availability.

For any invoice request, please note that invoices are issued under the name stated on the reservation. If the total amount of the reservation is not paid within the timeframe specified in the policies, the property reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancelation fees. Please note that any modification may incur additional charges. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment.

In July and August, Pierre & Vacances offers activities to fully enjoy the mountain environment. In Chamonix, guests receive a EUR 40 activity voucher per apartment, offered for stays of a minimum of seven nights, to be used with the partner Evolution 2 Chamonix. The voucher is provided upon arrival and can be redeemed for a wide range of outdoor activities such as rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, hydrospeed and hiking. Activities are subject to prior registration and availability. As these activities are organized by independent partners of Pierre & Vacances, the program may be subject to change.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

The location is excellent, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One thing to note is that the reception is located in a different building, but it is only a short walk away.

Cons:

The building itself feels a bit old and worn down in some areas and could benefit from some renovation.

Trop de bruit !
Pros:

La situation qui permet de visiter Chamonix sans prendre la voiture.
Le logement est tout à fait convenable pour 2 personnes, pour 4 cela me semble beaucoup trop petit : très peu de rangements.

Cons:

Aucune insonorisation, pas de double vitrage : très bruyant, on entend les gens qui discutent dehors même en pleine nuit.
Le logement étant situé en face de la gare routière, il y a un balai de bus incessant de 6h jusqu'à très tard et les cars laissent le moteur allumé !

The view from our room was very good (5th floor). The shower was powerful. Kitchen facilities were good.
Great location...the main street is just around the corner and the bus station is right opposite the building.

Cons:

The room was dated, but met our needs.
Reception is located in a different building. We were not informed about this prior to arrival so when we arrived we had to ring the host to find out where to check-in.

Pros:

Het was een slim ingedeeld appartement. Het was erg schoon. De receptie was zeer vriendelijk. Het centrum van Chamonix was op loopafstand. Ook de berglift en het treintje naar de ijsgrot waren dichtbij.

Cons:

Het was zeer onduidelijk waar de receptie was. We zijn naar het appartement genavigeerd echter bleek dat de receptie op een andere plek was op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen. We konden onze auto niet kwijt im de spullen uit te laden.
Het was vooraf niet duidelijk dat we een parkeerplek moesten reserveren. Uiteindelijk konden we parkeren bij de garage onder het andere hotel. We moesten daardoor 5 minuten met onze tassen en een kleuter sjouwen naar het hotel. Het zou fijn zijn geweest als dit vooraf was gecommuniceerd.
