Beautiful property, warm staff, with one major caveat from our experience
Pros:

One of the most unique and beautiful properties we’ve stayed at, with a gorgeous view of the Mediterranean from our terrace. Staff was warm and professional throughout our stay. Restaurant offered high quality cooking with warm, excellent staff.

Cons:

As expected of a more rural property: Location was somewhat difficult to reach (Ubers could come to the property entrance but couldn’t find the hotel deeper within the property), so the best experience required coordinating a local Mijas taxi with the front desk. Wifi signal was spotty, especially in our rooms.

Our one reservation concerns the condition of our original suite. Midway through our stay, we realize some things hanging from the ceiling were active termite nests. To the hotel’s credit, the staff responded quickly and moved us to a new room, which was immaculate, and offered to refund the difference in room prices (our original suite was more expensive) via a credit to our dinner at the hotel restaurant and a bottle of olive oil. We felt this was a technically equitable resolution and left it there; we didn’t want to spend our last day of vacation discussing numbers. We raise the issue not as any complaint about how it was handled, but because at this price point a guest reasonably trusts that this kind of oversight won’t happen, and because it’s the sort of thing we’d have wanted to know before booking.

Fabulous !
Pros:

Incredible staff - so kind and attentive. Beautiful and well kept property, so relaxing. Great distance to Marbella without being in the crowds. Can also explore Mijas which is closer and Malaga. Meals were excellent.

Cons:

If I was being super fussy- the road to get up can be a bit tricky / windy, not great if you have a bigger car. It would be great if there was a small gym (even just some dumbbells) or you didn’t have to pay for every extra activity as there isn’t much to do apart from the pool. Maybe 2/3 extra lunch options would’ve been great.

Fantastisk - en lille perle
Pros:

Dette er simpelthen er perle - lækkert boutique hotel med “bare” 12 værelser og masser af plads på området, ved poolen osv. Det skønneste personale og bare så charmerende. Noget at det bedste vi har prøvet👏

Cons:

Vi kunne have tilbragt flere dage 😁

Bijzonder hulpzaam personeel en een fantastische lokatie.
Pros:

Bijzonder mooi opgezet complex. Met veel ruimte en mooie terrassen.
Mooie en sfeervolle ingerichte kamers en ruimte.

Cons:

Parkeerplaats ver van de kamers. En de weg naar het hotel is niet van een beste kwaliteit.
Ontbijt wordt vers voor je klaargemaakt. Geen buffet. Maar vond het persoonlijk vrij weinig.
Tegen bijbetalen is het mogelijk om gerechten bij te bestellen.

Pros:

Amazing place! It’s actually rare to find a hotel you want to come back to — but this is definitely one of them. The staff are incredibly attentive, the grounds are beautiful, and there’s plenty of space to walk both around the hotel and nearby.

The heated pool is fantastic (and quite rare!), and the food at the restaurant is delicious. You really get a sense of privacy and total relaxation here.
