What a brilliant place.
From the location, staff, food, rooms, atmosphere, everything was just spot on.
We stayed a couple of nights this week on a motorbike trip and apart from our trip home, I think they even ordered in the weather for us 😊
Every single member of staff were just incredible and really couldn't do enough for us.
Jack, the resident dog, is just the coolest, most laid back boy and is more than happy to share his space with any other four legged pal that comes along.
The food, well .... some of the best quality, tastiest food I've had. I normally don't order a steak outside of a steakhouse because it's never cooked right, but I went for it and ordered it rare. It was cooked perfectly and the flavour, wow 👌
We will definitely be back, thank you for a great stay 💕

Kings Head is an exceptional pub. The setting is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are to die for. Staff are amazing and so attentive, special thanks to Alex and Charlotte for making us feel very welcome. Jack the dog 🩵

Beautiful location and such a pretty, charming and cosy pub. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. Rooms are clean and well equipped.
The host was so welcoming and cheery all the staff was wonderful the food was exceptional couldn't fault anything and I will definitely recommend and return

The food is always exeptional, and the staff are always a delight. A lovely location on the river. The rooms are very cosy and feel like they are giving you a hug.

A fabulous olde village inn set in a tranquil settle next to running stream.
We were even lucky enough to see a couple of red squirrels when we arrived.
The place has everything you need for a superb relaxing stay.
Our room was dog friendly and still filled with every luxury needed and super comfy and spacious.
The food was amazing and place was buzzing both nights of our stay so book ahead to avoid missing out.

The Kings Head is a little gem of a place in a beautiful setting. The bar/ restaurant area is a very cosy inviting space and the bedrooms are all very comfortable and attractively furnished. The staff can't do enough for you and the food is delicious.
We have been many times now as it is our overnight go to when we just need a night away.
