I had a large room, the courtyard is pleasant, the location is fairly central. The staff were pleasant despite being unable to address my concerns. The air-con worked.
This is no place for a business traveler. (I'm a retired one). There was no desk or chair suitable for using a computer. The furniture, while apparently of good quality, is simply wrong for purpose - a very large, glass fronted wardrobe, but with three plastic hangers, one of which broke. There was an armchair but not comfortable. No bedside table or light. (There is a lamp, but with a high-wattage bulb, too bright to want to use at night. The bed could have accommodated 4 (I encountered this in all 3 hotels I stayed in). There was no flat space where I could lay out my clothes and other items. On day one, I took a warm shower; for the remainder of the week, until the penultimate day, there was no further hot water. I asked for it to be fixed and was replied 'What time do you want it?' That probably gives a clue as to why I had 5 days of cold sprinklings. On day 2 the toilet was blocked and resisted my attempts to flush it. There was a mini coffee maker, but no coffee after day one, despite asking for some. There is no laundry service or kitchen. Part of the building is used for noisy theatre productions. At night I could hear nearby snoring. The staff were young, friendly but apparently unempowered to deal with problems.
It’s in a lovely old building (convent?) that has been remodeled in good style, with nice patios and comfortable modern rooms.
The plumbing in my room was a bit blocked, the shower/sink/toilet slow to drain. Not unusual in a building of this age, and no big deal, but a bit challenging.
