I received a warm welcome at Reception and an even warmer welcome when a Spanish gentleman dressed as a waiter took my bag and led me to my room. After about five minutes there was a knock on the door and the same man was outside holding a spoon and serviette in one hand and a beautifully decorated cup cake covered with a cake bell cover in the other. I have never received anything quite like this in all my years of travelling (though I did once receive a bottle of beer in Bahrain), the cup cake was embedded with jam and smothered with cream topped with fruit and a twirl of gold leaf, it was delicious.
When I went down to the restaurant the same Spaniard was also barman and restaurant server. It’s a good job it wasn’t busy but he was fantastic, attentive and perfect in his service. His service really was exceptional, I can only assume that he is the owner?
My room was very comfortable with everything that I needed and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep and shower in the morning.
The only issue I had was arriving for breakfast at the allotted time to be told that the server was late. However, when the server did arrive breakfast was exceptional with many elements and in good quantities.
All in all a very enjoyable stay, I would stay here again and I can honestly recommend it to others. As for the Spaniard, he is one of a kind and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. Old fashioned service at its best

The hotel has an authentic charm and is generally well maintained, with beautiful gardens and a unique atmosphere.
Triple bedroom is big
The windows were in poor condition, allowing cold air to come through, and the bathroom was outdated and lacked proper ventilation.
The room had an unpleasant odor upon arrival, which affected the overall comfort of our stay.
The bathroom was dated and in need of renovation.
The floor in the spa area was extremely slippery and felt unsafe, especially when wet. It would benefit from a non-slip surface or better safety measures.

hay muchos zancudos eso nos hizo pasar mal la primera noche, luego con un buen insecticida paso mejor la siguiente noche
La piscina cubierta es excelente para disfrutar en la tarde y noche.
El restaurante muy malo, la calidad de la comida para el precio que tiene no es compatible. Además de fría la comida, las porciones no se acercan a las esperadas en otros restaurantes.
No me gusto por qué busque mi reserva, realice la reserva y cuando llegue no había disponibilidad, siendo tan tarde en una ciudad que no conozco me tocó salir a buscar hospedaje
De qué sirve que el alojamiento sea bonito si no toman en cuenta la reserva que hice y no me pude hospedar ahí
Location, fantastic staff, and facilities were lovely. The breakfast were amazing - they must have one incredible chef.
The discoteca next door made the place noisy and the guests FaceTiming in the passageway outside my door until 2AM was not ideal. The shower head beds the lime cleaned off but otherwise no complaints.
