The location is convienient for those who want to be close to the town centre. It takes roughtly 15-20 minutes to walk to Waverly from that location. The bed in the room was very comfortable.
We paid £178 for an overnight for valentines night. We arrived at the property at 3pm which was the time of check in. Our keys were not in this folder with our room number on it. We bumped into a cleaner at the property who apologetically said that our room wasn't ready as she didn't have the chance to start yet.
We arrived back at 5pm and there was an overwhelming damp sewage like smell within the room and the carpet from the bed to the bathroom was soaken. I messaged the owner from booking.com and immediately got a phone call from Nizam. He informed me that there was a leak from the radiator in the room the previous night and initially offered a FULL refund for the night regardless whether we stayed or not. Since it was valentines and the costs of other places being extortionate, we decided to accept staying with a full refund. The bed was comfortable but the stay was completely ruined by the room literally reaking of a pungent, fusty damp smell.
I got a message from Nizam saying that he has spoken to his father and the father would like to offer us a partial refund without confirming what the amount was.
Long story short - the refund was a day late after chasing up a few times and we only received £35 back!
I challenged Nizam on why we received £35 back after initially being offered a full refund. He initially wouldn't confirm ever making an offer of a full refund. Tried to justify his partial offer of £35 on a response from chatgpt and then admitted that he should not have offered it without speaking to his father first, who was the owner. It took me about 2 hours of challenging him to finally admit it. I felt that me and my partner were made for fools and I wouldn't recommend staying there. Photos attached for proof.

I booked a family room on my arrival there was no key in the key folder I called and I was told to go to the room l opened and it was not cleaned .l was told a cleaner is coming to clean but I was now told to go to a double room and it was freezing cold .

Location and private bathroom. With no reception, the management of property were quick to respond to online messages and queries.
It was not a luxury room. There were a shortage of mugs and towels. Problem with Tv. Broken extra tv left in room. It was clean and comfortable but unfortunately disappointed. It’s the attention to detail that was sadly lacking with so much potential.
Good location, close to the tram/public transport which allows easy access to the city/town easy instructions and a place was clean and comfortable.
If soap and shampoo could be provided that would be a good bonus
