Amazing stay, superb food and service, best hosts that made us feel welcome!
Pros:

The hotel has a very warm, old-time atmosphere and interior. I especially liked the comfortable bed, the embroidered linen, the traditional soaps offered as amenity, and the scent of real wood. The location is great and you can see the bay from the balcony! Top notch cleanliness! The hosts were very warm and welcoming and even helped us with additional requests for finding specific items in town shops. We visited Troy and staying at the hotel where Shliman stayed during his expeditions was an additional perk that added to the atmosphere of adventure to our trip. The breakfast was superb and versatile. The Turkish tea offered at breakfast was very much to my liking! Right next door to the hotel you can find shops selling baklava and a bery cozy cafe selling the traditional cheese halva with ice-creme since 1912.

Pros:

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel provides all modern amenities and, yet, the delightful little touches in the interior such as lace tablecloths and curtains, the retro furniture, handwoven rugs are reminiscent of good old days. It was such a lovely surprise to find out that Heinrich Schliemann used to stay there!

Cons:

None

We enjoyed it very much and would stay there again, but next time with earplugs :)
Pros:

Cute place and one of the very first Hotels in the town, since over 100 years. Even Mr. Schliemann doing the first Excravations in Troja stayed there :)
Staff is very friendly, caring and gives reliable advice.
The location is great, near the water and even with a small balcony and view to the water.
And good breakfast!

Cons:

It can be quite noisy at nights due to city-life on the lower road.
