Pros:

The manager was a lovely man who seemed to do everything from cooking to carrying the bags. Food was OK.

Cons:

The bed linen did not look fresh and clean. Some of the furniture was made from plywood and looked old and cheap. The bed was short, I am 6ft2inches tall and my feet hung over the end of the bed, I have stayed in many hotels in India and this is the first bed that was too short for me. The room had a floor carpet square, when I walked on it in my socks they become covered in lint and hair. The shower had plenty of hot water but unfortunately when I used the shower there was no cold water. Every day of my stay a bus load of people arrived early in the evening, they talked loudly and had a propensity to slamming their room doors, the noise went until midnight and started again around 5am. I shifted to another much better hotel. I will also mention the internet was slow..

recently stayed at De Suzain Hotel in Leh, and it was a really pleasant experience overall. The hotel is in a great location—peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountain views, yet still close enough to the main market to explore easily.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. After long days of sightseeing in Leh, it felt really nice to come back and relax in a cozy space. The staff was one of the best parts of the stay—very polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything, whether it was arranging transport or giving local suggestions.
The food was also quite good, fresh and tasty, with enough variety to enjoy during the stay. The hospitality made the whole experience even better and more memorable.
The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times, but honestly, being in a place like Leh, it felt good to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings.
