Nimal's white house

Nimal und seine Kollegen waren super freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

Nimal is a super host, he is always willing to go on an adventure or just to stay and talk over dinner. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nimal took us to see the lagune, and also, to our request, to an excelent tour in Ttincomali, to beautiful places that we would never find ourselves. My children felt very safe and loved the place and especialy Nimal. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, we had a shared bathroom and a good AC in our room.

En inderdaad het klopt Nimal is uniek en die smile vergeet je nooit en je voelt je echt thuis bij hem!! Ik zou drie dagen maar ben zes dagen gebleven en eigenlijk had ik er nog wel een week willen blijven!

I had the best night's sleep at Nimal's! Quiet, comfortable & clean room. The beach at the end of the road (next to Divingguru) is much nicer & cleaner than the main Nilaweli beach a bit further north (walkable).

Nimal and his brother were a great hosts, they cooked delicious food and the place was very relaxing.

Nimal is a perfect host. Incredibly friendly, and every need was catered for. Very helpful with everything we needed for our trip such as sourcing transport. So friendly - we had such a relaxing stay, just minutes from the beach too.

La maison de Nimal est absolument formidable, très jolie, spacieuse, très propre et on ne peut plus chaleureuse. Les photos ne lui rendent pas assez hommage.
Plusieurs lieux permettent de passer du bon temps: la terrasse devant la maison, la cabane en hauteur et le restaurant. La cuisine est très bonne !
La maison est située dans un endroit très calme au Milieu des champs. La plage est accessible en moins de 5 minutes à pied ou en 1 minute avec ses vélos. De l’autre côté, la voie principale avec un atm et des commerces est à 2 minutes à pied. Nous sommes restés 3 jours et tout la famille a quitté cet endroit le cœur serré. Avec Nimal, tout est possible et réjouissant ! Meme conduire son tuk tuk.

Turejom nuostabu laika keliaujant po Sri lanka. Jautemes lyg atvykę pas seimos nari, kuris taip rūpinosi mumis nuo pat paėmimo is kitos vietos. Nimalio namuose turejom viska ko reikia , maistas buvo labai skanus, ivairus vaisiai, sultys..... .Nimalis aprodė visas idomias ir grazias vietas. Vien tik geri prisiminimai. Rekomenduojam visiems!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay with Nimal. Nimal was an amazing host, he went above and beyond to give us an authentic Sri Lankan experience. From local knowledge, traditional Sri Lankan meals, to taking us to local beaches, to see crocodiles and sunset on a beautiful lagoon. No tourists were around! We never would have gone to these local spots if it wasn’t for him! We will be back ❤️

Nimal its a super kind host, super easy going, helpful and he had a lot of details expecting nothing in return. He also makes easy to go to Pigeon Island or to go to a lagoon to see the cocodriles. Food was very good I had dinner and breakfast and super tasty.

Nimal‘s white House is a stunning place, specially because of Nimal. He has a heart of gold and makes everything possible. He even took me to see the wonderful landscape around Nilaveli and he left me drive the Tuk tuk at a place without traffic. The food is stunning as well prepared by his sister and nephew, I had breakfast and dinner most days here. I planned on staying four nights and ended up staying three weeks and only left because I needed to catch my flight back home. I felt very safe at my whole stay as a female solo traveller, Nimal takes very good care . Thank you!

J’ai passé 3 nuits dans le petit paradis de Nimal. Le logement est simple, parfait pour les voyageurs à petit budget à la recherche d’une guesthouse typique et sans chichis. Mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à une chambre d’hôtel de luxe ;)

Le clou de cette guesthouse est bien sûr Nimal, avec son grand cœur et son envie de tout partager. Il aura toujours de super recommandations pour vous. Et la nourriture cuisinée par sa sœur est excellente, c’est une cuisine comme à la maison :)
La plage est à 10mn à pied aussi, très pratique pour un petit bain matinal.

Ce havre de paix me manque déjà !

Super Unterkunft. Nimal ist ein super Gasgeber und hat uns alles möglich gemacht. Das Highlight: unsere Kinder durften beim Sonnenuntergang an der Lagune Tuk Tuk fahren. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

We stayed 3 nights with two kids (8y/10y). Our kids loved the garden with hammock and coconuts. And Nimal loves kids (has 3 daughters). He showed our kids how to open coconuts, gave them tuktuk lessons, and they helped to cook in the kitchen. We ate every evening and morning at his place, as the food which his sister is creating is great and different every day - and she will prepare some special things to try if you want. One evening, the family and friends of Nimal dropped in, and we all celebrated his birthday. Also, on the other days, we often had long discussions with him about culture, family and life in general. Nimal is a local and very well connected: he organized the boat to Pigeon Island for a fair price and organized seats on an A/C bus to Sigiriya. I have not met any other location and person who is so open and heartful. We will keep this place as one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka!

Il nous a permis de bénéficier de tarifs intéressants pour le snorekeling. Les plats de sont restaurants sont très bons…
Nous sommes allés voir les crocodiles, conduit son Touktouk et tenté de voir un coucher de soleil dans le lagon, monnayant quelques roupies . Nous avons passé une journée extraordinaire !!

Very nice host – I felt very welcome during my stay. The breakfast was amazing, and the tour to Pigeon Island that Nimal arranged was fantastic. He also took me to watch the sunset by the lagoon and even let me drive his tuk-tuk, which was such a fun experience! When I couldn’t find accommodation for the next night, he cleared out a private room and kindly let me stay there. Truly generous and thoughtful – I really appreciated everything!
