Limited menu but we'll cooked
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was awkward to get to, but in a central position which was in its favour.
The room layout, in that the bathroom was along a corridor with steps.
Lovely setting, though road directions might have been clearer. Friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival. very nice room and view, very quiet. Breakfast adequate. Friendly staff generally.
Clearer road directions. Would have welcomed freshly made tea/coffee at breakfast. The water urns produced lukewarm water, so the toasting system was slow and rather antiquated.
Lovely spot and we really loved our stay.
Breakfast was lovely and reception staff member, upon our arrival, was very friendly. Thank you
Location fabulous
5*as advertised on the hotels website.
Bedroom was small, utility furniture, not as good as a Premier Inn quality! We supposedly had an upgrade…. Joke!
Bar not available on first night, due to wedding. On the Sunday evening,no food, available, only wanted sandwich. Did ask for the bar early evening, but receptionist was the bar staff, so bar not manned for further service.
Highlighted our disappointment on checking out after 2 nights, male member of staff stated it wasn’t a 5*.
So… our 5* weekend away didn’t happen.
Use Premiere inn in Abingdon, unless you’re happy with student/ conference style accommodation. Very poor
