Enjoyed our Stay at Little Gem Hotel
Pros:

The hotel very nice and peaceful throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for local spots for food. We enjoyed having the little cookies provided daily after housekeeping. :)

Cons:

Over all it was a good stay but the following recommendations may help to improve further guests stay.

- The floor type in the bathroom is slippery when wet therefore a shower mat will help to prevent accident.

- A TV in the room. All though not a deal breaker since we spend majority of our time outside the room, however it would be nice to have a TV to watch when we were in.

Pros:

Très belle chambre, spacieuse et confortable, dans un hôtel calme. Le personnel est disponible et attentionné. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, servi au bar situé en face de l’hôtel.

Cons:

Attention : l’annonce traduite en anglais mentionnait une baignoire avec contrôle de la température, mais en réalité l’eau est froide, à température ambiante.

Superbe hôtel, rien à redire !
Pros:

L'hôtel est superbe, notre chambre double était spacieuse, propre, bien équipée (frigo, machine à café, eau...). Le personnel à l'accueil est accueillant. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 jours mais si nous retournons un jour à Tulum, il est certains qu'on reviendrait à cet hôtel sans hésitation.

Cons:

Les rues (enfin, les pistes...) autour de l'hôtel en très mauvais état. Mais ça, l'hôtel n'y peut rien.

Quiet, safe and relaxed stay in Tulum
Pros:

End of April I spent one night in the Little Gem Hotel, travelling with a car. I enjoyed the stay very much. The staff was very friendly, it was a pleasure to cool down in the swimming pool, I had coffee and water both in the room and in the lobby. Air conditioning and shower worked fine. The breakfast across the street was good. In the evening I walked three blocks to Calle 7 Sur with lots of bars and restaurants. Although the quarter is still in development and some streets look shady I always felt safe. I read in the comments about the “dangerous” bumpy dirt street, it is only 100m and absolutely no issue if you know how to drive in Mexico.

L'hôtel est un réel petit bijou. Il est très bien décoré, les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables et le personnel est aux petits soins. La piscine est aussi très agréable

Perfekte Unterkunft in Tulum
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt im Neubauviertel, wo es viele Appartementhäuser gibt. Also nicht wundern, wenn die Straße vor der Unterkunft noch nicht fertig ist. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wirklich ein echtes Juwel. Die Zimmer super ausgestattet, die Betten bequem, das Bad riesig groß, der Wasserdruck zum Duschen klasse (wer in Mexiko rumgekommen ist, weiß, wovon ich spreche).
Das Haus ist wohl ca. vier Jahre alt (in 2026) und immer noch in einem super Zustand. Der Pool im Innenraum wird täglich sauber gemacht.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.
In rund 20 Minuten zu Fuß (oder 5 Minuten mit dem Rad) ist man auf der Avenida Tulum. Wir sind auch spät abends mehrfach zu Fuß zurück gelaufen. Ist zwar nicht immer gut beleuchtet, aber wir hatten niemals ein ungutes Gefühl.
Ein großartiges Frühstück gibt es gegenüber im Cafe - einmalig 15% Rabatt wenn man Gast vom Little Gem ist.

Cons:

Die kostenlosen Leihfahrräder sind nicht mehr so in Schuss...

Amazing
Pros:

Amazing place yo stay in a quiet area of tulum close to calle 7 (lots of cafes, bars, shops) Free use of bicycles which allowed yo go to the beach area one day and the nearby cenotes the next day. The staff were all friendly and the room was very clean. Not far from ado bus station but make sure you don't get overcharged on the taxi ! It cost us 100 pesos from ado bus station to little gem. (We walked about 2 mins away from ado bus station to get this price)

Pros:

Son emplacement, le lieu est superbe. Le personnel adorable. Les chambres supers confortables et vraiment propres, grandes, superbes.
L’endroit est chaleureux. Fontaine à eau sur place et petit frigo dans la chambre. On adore l’endroit.
Possibilité de déjeuner dans le petit café en face il y a une réduction en disant que vous êtes à l’hôtel.
Vraiment un bel endroit.

Pros:

Little gem was the perfect place for our trip to Tulum. Central location, clean property tucked away, provided bikes free of charge, and right across the street from a great breakfast cafe. The highlight was the concierge service, both people who worked at the front desk gave us the best recommendations on places to go and things to do, and made the trip truly magical.
