Loved our stay and will come back again.
Pros:

Location and parking our car was very easy. Car park was safe. Hotel dinner was amazing as was their tapas menu. Rooms were very spacious and were so friendly couldn’t do enough for us. Reception ladies were brilliant as staff in both restaurants.

Cons:

The room was a bit hot but we had a fan. We have noticed rooms all over Ireland are a bit warm not much to really complain about.

Zuni features great rooms, staff, and restaurant, and is central to so many great places in Kilkenny
Pros:

We loved everything about our stay at Zuni and would absolutely plan to stay there again if/when returning to Kilkenny! Louise at the front desk was WONDERFUL in helping us with everything we needed, from explaining how things worked in our room to giving us recommendations for places to eat and visit; her kindness was a standout feature and much appreciated by two travellers very tired and jetlagged. Other staff members were also helpful to a fault. The front desk also has beautiful colored maps of the city to help you plan out where to walk; Louise took a lot of time walking us through the map and writing out places she knew we would not want to miss. We cannot stress how much we felt taken care of at the hotel.

As for the room, it was among the best rooms we stayed at in Ireland--comfortable beds, quiet at night, and fantastic bathroom. The elevator was in good working order and never required a wait.

The restaurant downstairs is fantastic--delicious breakfast food (one of our party was raving about the pancakes, while the other loved the Irish breakfast, counting it as the best breakfast of the trip) and extremely attentive waitstaff whether at the bar or at the tables.

This is also the PLACE TO STAY if you are looking for something CENTRAL to whatever you want to do in the city. The hotel is a right next to a bunch of great shops, restaurants, and attractions. In fact, we wish we had stayed at Zuni longer to take in more of the city since it was all right there. You cannot beat staying right where the action is.

Centrally located hotel and good value
Pros:

The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. Louise on reception was very helpful with information and Tiernan in the restaurant was pleasant in responding to our requests.

Pros:

L'amabilité du personnel. La qualité du petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! Avec un serveur des plus sympathiques. La propreté de la chambre et de l'hôtel en général. Emplacement idéal proche du château.

Cons:

Seul point noir, la signalisation de l'hôtel qui est à améliorer. Nous sommes venus en voiture, et les indications sont quasi inexistantes. Le parking est bien, mais il faut absolument revoir ce petit problème.
