The restaurant and bar person was lovely. The food was good and great location for the airport
Pros:

Very friendly staff, great location near Stansted airport. Decent food

Cons:

Under the flight oath at end of runway. One block of rooms is on the other side of a fast country lane which feels isolated and a bit creepy!

Ideal location for the airport. Clean and highly recommended.
Pros:

Stayed for one night to fly from Stansted next morning. Very impressed from the first. It’s ideally located and such a lovely property. Immaculately clean in the public areas and our room was great.
We ate in the restaurant and it was really good food.

Cons:

I have to say the noise of the planes overhead. But we booked knowing how it would be. Did not detract from a really good stay.

Good location for the airport
Pros:

The room was small and basic. I used earplugs so the airplane noise didn't bother me. It was a good price for what I needed, which was a comfortable bed a short distance from the airport. I arrived late and left early, so didn't have breakfast there.

Pros:

Muy buena localización al lado del aeropuerto. Habitación amplia y limpia. Desayuno incluido y variado. Amplio aparcamiento y bonito jardín.

Cons:

Está al lado del aeropuerto, así que el ruido de los aviones es inevitable. No obstante, con las ventanas cerradas, el ruido se amortigua bastante.

Perfect short stay accommodation
Pros:

The property is stunning

Cons:

On an extremely hot day the lodges are boiling and its location on the end of a runway its extremely loud until 10:30pm and restarts again at 4:30am but its value for money

GREAT STAY, GOOD FOOD, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF
Pros:

We had a lovely clean and cool room (25). The staff were all very friendly. The food was exceptional. Compliments to the chef.

Cons:

Only negative was the shower was cold one morning which was fixed promptly.

Planes fly over head 24/7 and are incredibly loud. Do not stay here unless you are a very deep sleeper

Pros:

The building is pretty and there is a beautiful lake out the back of the property. The towels were soft and the bed was comfy. It’s super close to the airport.

Cons:

The window in room 24 is old and the window latch is broken so it doesn’t seal properly. The noise of the planes was to be expected but the industrial kitchen fan was also just outside of the room.

Needs some work to live up to the outward looks
Pros:

It’s a beautiful building set in lovely grounds. The decor was lovely throughout.

Cons:

The shower in the morning did not get warm let alone hot. And we tried every twist and turn known to man. The toilet didn’t flush properly either.
The man at check in seemed more concerned with rushing us into booking into the restaurant than anything else. I understand we arrived at 8:30 and kitchen staff were due to leave. But it put us off eating with you as we felt everyone just wanted to go home.
I picked here as it had a bar and restaurant. Seeing as we ended up in the services for food - I might as well have booked the Ramada.

Would recommend
Pros:

Lovely to arrive here after a long journey. Spacious room and bathroom. Did not eat here as arrived at almost 9pm but went for a drink, lovely warm evening sat out on the terrace overlooking the lake. Really nice setting. Would stay here again.

Cons:

Planes start flying at 6am but we did have to be up for our flight anyway.

Pros:

The Room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

the noise from the passing planes from Stansted airport were very noisy no aircon two small fans and as we opened windows which were single glazed the aircraft noise was booming overhead

Breakfast was paid for and when we checked in we were told the breakfast finishes at 11am (it was a BH and normally breakfast finished on weekend at 11am) but were were told a BH is the same as a Sunday timing - we arrived for breakfast at 10.50 we were told there is no breakfast - we complained and were told help yourself to what is left on tables - eventually we did get offered tea and coffee - staff not very welcoming on arrival or on leaving
