Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto soggiornare qui perché, al nostro arrivo, la camera non era nelle condizioni che ci aspettavamo. Abbiamo trovato uova di formiche e insetti nei letti, che non avevano le lenzuola, accanto alle finestre, sul soffitto e per terra.
Very comfortable and a great location inbetween two parts on the road for restaurants. Close to a great sunset spot with a view of Lions Rock by a lake. Saw a wild elephant from afar.
Nice breakfast and very prompt service from the staff. Great value for money.

The hotel is really well located, surrounded by nature and quiet to sleep at night. The host is very helpful, he organised all our taxi drivers around the country, with the best prices. He has a great communication and flexibility, he made our trip in Sri Lanka very comfortable ! Je highly recommend !

Really lovely family who looked after us during our staff, advising about the best places to visit and what time. They were also able to organise tours and tuk tuks directly for us!
Internet was a little bit inconsistent but overall worked well

Very responsive and proactive host. Organised jeep safari and other activities for us cheaper than elsewhere. The property is conveniently located close to all shops and restaurants.
Clean & comfortable private room, good mattress, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good value for private rooms
The dorm was a completely different story. The beds were worn out, the mattresses uncomfortable and the pillows didn’t sleep well at all. The worst part was the shower; you could literally see exposed wiring and I actually got a small electric shock which is extremely dangerous!

In all honesty when we arrived we thought we might find something else before we even checked in. But we stayed the first night, we got comfortable and stayed two more nights.
It’s definitely not a resort as the name implies, it’s a very simple homestay.
We really loved the position and Sigiriya is a beautiful place. It’s an easy walk to plenty of restaurants, laundry, shops and tour operators.
Having separate top sheets might be an issue for some.
The bathroom could do with a bit of an update.
