Egol and his family are super nice, food is amazing, accommodation is very nice, clean, location is great. I recommend their rice terrace walking tour and they can arrange other tours.

De ligging, de gastvrijheid & de leuke bungalow. Prachtig uitzicht, erg schoon!

Cons:

Oordopjes zijn meer dan welkom om mee te nemen (veel moskeeën) maar dat is bij elke accommodatie in de buurt natuurlijk.

Pros:

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Hide and Seek. Hele fijne bungalow met heerlijke hangmat. Hele lieve familie waarbij we ook een tour door Tetebatu hebben gedaan (langs het apenbos, rijstvelden, watervallen) en een cooking class hebben gevolgd. Echt een aanrader!

Lovely staff, very helpful
Great breakfast.
Close to some great warungs.

Cons:

Some construction noise happening wirhnew bungalows giung up but wasn't too bad.

Satna and family were lovely and her cooking was delicious. What a treat to have jackfruit curry made with a jackfruit from the garden! The room was modest and very clean and the setting is beautiful. If you want to explore the padi fields, it's best to have a local guide so they can show you all the routes between fields and you're contributing to the local economy. Satna and family can arrange this for you, or you can shop around

Prima voor een nachtje
Pros:

Het verblijf zelf is gunstig gelegen en schoon. Weet wel dat je in de jungle zit. De badkamer is deels open & daar zat bij ons een rat.

Cons:

Wij hadden veel gelezen over Egol & mede daarom geboekt, maar Egol was zelf niet aanwezig tijdens ons verblijf. Dat was een kleine teleurstelling.

We had the hut with patio and it was amazing! Nice hammock too. They also have a restaurant and you should really try the pancake with pineapple it’s amazing!!

Amazing, would stay again.
Pros:

So peaceful, with a beautiful rice field. I loved this neighborhood, the owners were so friendly. it was Ramadan when we went but they still cooked for us, the cat bella we talk about everyday, she is too sweet. They are chill and kind people. The room was so cozy, we had the two floor place, and enjoyed watching the sunset with our beers and just relaxing, we almost didn't want to leave to explore it was so nice. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. Just go and feel at peace.

Cons:

We booked the place with the kitchen downstairs, but it hadn't really been cleaned, I think because it was low tourist season and most people don't seem to cook. For example, when I opened the cupboards, it was filled with spiderwebs and spiders, and the cups in the sink were covered in dust and didn't look very clean. Not that we used them anyways.
I think that is my only complaint and reason for 9 stars. Not a big deal, just something we had noticed. If you are worried about noise, the prayers from the mosque are unavoidable and some people may not like it but we found it surreal and very beautiful.
