A superb hotel with a homely feel in a fabulous location with a perfect hostess
Pros:

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our lovely host Michelle ensured that our stay felt like visiting a friend. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, everything it should be, but fascinating too, quirky and with so much history to discover. A wonderful experience, can’t fault it.

Excellent hotel and stunning location. Can't recommend it enough.
Pros:

Stayed here for 2 months for work at the local Power Station. Michelle and Paul were fantastic hosts. The food was top notch and the bar very friendly and welcoming. Stunning location with lots of good walks and things to do near by. By far and away the best long term accommodation I have stayed in. Can't wait to return but preferably for a holiday this time and not work.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was absolutely spot on and can't find fault anywhere.

Loved it! I loved it so much that I extended my stay 5 times! 10/10!
Pros:

If you’re travelling with a dog and looking for somewhere special, this is just the ticket!
The service that Michelle and her team provide is absolutely brilliant. She has become a local legend and the reviews about her and her attentiveness are true. Welcoming and warm, it certainly is.
The beds are very comfortable and the linens plush and silky, super luxurious, and spotless.
And the food, well, utterly delicious. All cooked by Michelle, home cooked food, but elevated.
I would highly recommend.

Cons:

Nothing!
The hotel is a beautiful house, with incredible history, a sweeping drive and stunning views. You can see the ocean from one side, and misty mountains to the other. Lots of space for my dog to play, and plenty of benches and places to stop and a have a beer or two, whilst being entertained by the extra cute pet lambs bobbing around.
It’s a very handy location for visiting North Wales and all the delights it offers.

Wonderful trip to a country hotel in the middle of the Welsh mountains
Pros:

Michelle was an amazing host and made us feel most welcome. We had a wonderful meal in the evening, it was home-made, delicious and such a good price. We couldn’t rate this hotel and staff more highly. It is an absolute gem in the mountains of Wales. We will definitely visit again to experience the hospitality that Michelle dished out in bucketfuls. 😁
