Just don’t do it.
Pros:

It was the view of water, but it was below the ground level sadly and no access from room and the screen was full of holes. Plus the balcony was full of dirty.

Cons:

The floor was filthy and gritty, it was Formica. It was so gross. The bathroom walls had torn walls that looked like mold on them. Beds were hard and pillows were thin.

Considering that I paid $810 for two rooms for 3 nights, the experience was very disappointing.
Pros:

Did not have breakfast

Cons:

A staircase light was not functioning, the staircase carpeting ripped. It was dark and we were very concerned of tripping and falling.
There was no Kleenex in the bathroom when I arrived and there was sand on the floors which was clearly not ours (my friend had the room next to mine.
There was mold and hair(not mine) on the bathtub.
The bathroom fan was entirely useless, making a little bit of a noise but no function.
Garbage of the previous guest had not been removed.
The screen to the balcony was ripped and loose at the bottom, so I could not leave the door to the balcony open.
The room next door (my friend's) had no screen at all to the balcony. And she did not have bath towels in the room when we arrived.
The AC was noisy (luckily the weather allowed us to shut it off).
The refrigerator was also noisy
There was not enough hot water to fill the tub when my friend wanted to take a bath.
The waterpark was closed. There was construction equipment inside but we were told that the park would not be up and running this year (luckily I did not bring my grandson).

When I booked the two rooms I did not see any information about the waterpark not being available. I also did not know that there was no daily housekeeping service.

Right on the water. Amazing views

Cons:

The other guests feeding the seagulls right outside our patio. Hotel was great the other guests were just rude.

room was filthy, i had to use all the towels in the room to clean the floor which were black after cleaning, the shower also needed cleanong before we could use. The fact you advertise a waterpark but do not mention that it is closed on your webiste is false advertisement. When we asked for more towels at the front desk the clerk acted like it was a bother, i should have just called the inspector to come look at the filth in the room.

Pros:

The room was clean and well maintained, and the bathroom was clean with good hot water and a working heater. The view from the balcony was beautiful and made the stay more enjoyable. The location was very convenient, with ferry tickets available in the lobby and only about a 5-minute walk to the ferry for Mackinac Island.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi was extremely weak and barely worked during our stay. Even the TV couldn’t connect properly because of the poor internet connection. We reported it to the front office and they sent a technician, but unfortunately the issue could not be fixed.

All in all it was doable
Pros:

Didn't have the breakfast. Upgrade to lakefront room

Cons:

Bed was terrible!, most of the outlets in the room didn't work, exhaust fan in bath didn't work.
