Great apartments overall. The place is well-equipped with everything you need, except for a washing machine (though it is accurately not listed in the description). The location is excellent, but keep in mind that the path to the beach involves climbing stairs. Communication is mostly handled through a chatbot, which works as expected with typical automated responses.
The apartment itself is lovely, clean, and in a peaceful location. It's not actually in Garachico, but about 2 minutes drive or 15 walk on a steep hill, but that's clearly shown on the map, so no surprises there. Parking nearby was also easy enough.
I don't usually leave negative reviews, and I completely understand that hosts need to protect their property. But this stay genuinely made me feel uncomfortable.
At check-in you're asked to sign a tenancy contract with a detailed price list for almost everything in the apartment and authorise a €300 charge to your card if needed. I knew this as it was mentioned on Booking, but signing an actual tenancy contract on arrival, without clear information to me, about how disputes would be handled, didn't feel great.
Communication is through an agency (possibly AI), so everything feels quite impersonal. Instead of feeling welcomed, I found myself checking every little thing in the apartment because I was worried about being blamed for something.
I reported the hairdryer wasn't working as soon as we arrived. The reply was simply, "Weird, it was working before," which came across as if i was responsible or I wasn't believed, and it was never replaced. The windows only open partially, there's no fan (asked for one and they said it was not possible) and no blackout curtains, so the bedroom is bright from around 5 a.m.
I also received a checkout reminder text at 1:20 a.m. the night before leaving. The next day I replied to say I thought messaging guests in the middle of the night was quite inappropriate. That message was simply ignored, there was no acknowledgement or apology.
Even having to take the rubbish out or risk an extra charge added to the overall feeling. None of these things are major on their own, but they all add up. I even felt the need to take a video of the apartment before checking out as proof that we had left it clean, tidy (as we always do), and undamaged.
The apartment is genuinely nice, but hospitality is about the little things. Those small details are what separate a great host from a mediocre one.

It was pretty perfect, however it is up quite a steep hillside from Garachico so if you are wanting to walk in and out and have any mobility issues it might be something to be mindful of.

The property is located about a 15-minute walk from the centre of Garachico, in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Guests can enjoy beautiful views overlooking the surrounding area.
We visited at the end of December. Although we knew Tenerife is generally a warm island, the nights in December were surprisingly cold. The accommodation did not have any heating, and as it did not receive much sunlight during the day, the indoor temperature remained quite low. As a result, our children had to sleep wearing thick outdoor jackets. The blankets provided were very thin.
However, this was based on our personal experience, and we believe this would not be an issue if visiting in a warmer season.
