The Hotel Rafiya, Redditch

Mattress too worn out could feel the springs horribly uncomfortable, room quite dusty, sheets not clean, noisy, room very cold, left with a sinus infection.

Bit tired, lights out in room, tele remote didn’t work.

Rubish pile of bedroom gernal rubbish piled against the side wall next to the pathway ,i walked past on the way to the car .
I wasn't happy at all paying for my service Dog .
I have never been charged before for my dog .
The came as a total shock.
I was charged me £20.00 ,for the night. !!!.
Very expensive.
If I had know this I wouldn't have booked the Hotel Rafiya.
I would of stayed in the Day Inn on the Moterway.
O charge for my service dog.
I travel all the time in the UK visiting family and friends.
It's the first time in4 and a half yrs of having my special service fog I have been charged.
I qestioned chargeing for service dog and the unfriendly chap who checked me in didn't care he just took my money.
My dog Is a Hypoallergenic dog who doesn't shed any hair snd I always take a thow for the bed so it docen't get dirty if my dog gets onto it.

Not much about unless you drive food wise

Cobwebs in the rooms with spiders allover. Mould allover the shower and bath.

Room smelt of bleach, dirty stains on the walls, hairs on the bed.

Check in, reception smelt of smoke and receptionist typed £1,095 instead of £109, when I pulled him up he said type it yourself??

The blind didn’t work but we managed.

Sadly what spoilt this trip the most was the lack of communication between Head Office, ourselves and the hotel. I spent 4 hours sorting out a reasonable price for the dogs to stay, to find out this hadn’t been properly agreed. So after a long drive this was a stress we really didn’t need. There was a lack of towels and a mug, which we did point out but it wasn’t remedied. Cheap for the room, but be careful if you are taking dogs as that fee is extortionate. The room was very hot

The property is grubby, unclean and very poorly maintained.

Stayed here for just 8 hours and honestly, that was more than enough. The place felt very seedy from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness was seriously lacking — the room didn’t feel fresh or hygienic, and some of the areas looked like they hadn’t had a proper clean in quite some time. For the price we paid, we expected at least basic standards, but it was massively overpriced for what was essentially a very uncomfortable and sketchy experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, even for a short stay.
