Fair compromise for great location
Pros:

The bed and pillows were comfy. Charlie, at the front desk, was a great help. Laundry service was convenient. Location was excellent for local sightseeing and connecting with local tour companies. Lots of ATMs and mini marts close by. Pharmacy next door. Please note that buses are no longer allowed to drive into the old town during the day. This means connecting with tour buses is a short walk from the hotel.

Cons:

The room wasn't cleaned properly. Shelves were dusty. Floors were not swept daily. After asking for the floor to be cleaned properly, it was. The wifi was not consistent. For most of my stay, my devices could not connect to it. The area is noisy midweek during the work day. The view out the window isn't good. The room is very small even for 1 person. Room is dark.

Wonderful stay - will book again.
Pros:

The breakfast had variety and was very good. Close to the French Quarter which we enjoyed. Excellent hospitality! The rooms were spacious and clean. For me, the real standout was the staff—they were courteous and friendly. A special mention to the manager who assisted us with arranging a 3D2N Halong Bay cruise. Wonderful stay!

Pros:

Convenient location. You’re near everything, but the block itself isn’t super hectic. You have the best of both worlds. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was good. Excellent value for what I paid
