Great pub. Pity about all the roadworks and lack of parking.

Overall, we had a great stay at the Teller's Arms, would stay there again if in the area.
Pros:

This location is different than what I am used to. It is a hotel with rooms above a pub. The rooms are spacious and look newly renovated and above all are quiet, we did not hear any noises from downstairs at all. The staff was great and didn't mind when we came downstairs in our pjs to order breakfast and were kind enough to bring it to our room when it was ready which was so helpful when traveling with kids.

Cons:

The check-in process was not clear. We got to the pub on a busy day when there were quite a lot of people inside, which is great, but a family with 4 large suitcases doesn't really fit the vibe. Luckily husband stood outside with the kids and suitcases while I went to the bar to ask how we checked in. Once we were able to get someone to help us it was a pretty easy process. They do have an option to order room service through their restaurants app, but if you do not have a UK number, you cannot create an account so we just went downstairs and ordered ourselves, the service was quick and the food was great.

Keep in mind there are no elevators in this building. You will be carrying your suitcases up and down stairs (even between the rooms if you have multiple).

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and the room was superb.

Old world charm

Cons:

Not the property as such and a temporary thing, but the lack of parking and all the road works practically barricading the property made access for us oldies very difficult. Once in we absolutely loved it.

Amazing stay. Would definitely come back.
Pros:

Beautiful property. Classy English pub/B&B. Huge rooms. Great feel. Very nice. Can’t say enough good things about this property, good, and staff.
