Old Road Rooms and Apartments with Pool

Es gibt nicht genug Parkplätze für alle Appartements. Nach Rückfrage per Nachricht an die Unterkunft (es war niemand vor Ort) haben wir jedoch eine freundliche Nachricht bekommen, dass wir zur Not bei einigen öffentlichen Parkplätzen parken dürften und das Geld zurückbekommen würden. Das war dann in unserem Fall zum Glück nicht nötig, weil wir dann doch immer noch einen Platz vor Ort gefunden haben.
Der Pool war nicht benutzbar und wirkte so als wäre er schon seit Jahren nicht benutzt worden. Dafür, dass der Titel der Unterkunft explizit auf den Pool hinweist, war das enttäuschend und es war definitiv keine Unterkunft mit Pool.
Generell wirkte alles am Haus ziemlich heruntergekommen. Wir haben während unserer vier Nächte dort kein einziges Mal Personal gesehen, es wirkte nicht so als würde sich jemand aktiv um die Instanthaltung kümmern. Am letzten Abend fiel außerdem der Strom aus und einige Lampen funktionierten nicht mehr, erst am nächsten Vormittag dann wieder.

Jelentős késéssel tudtuk átvenni a szobát, tv nem működött ezt másnapra orvosolták, fürdőszoba bűzös (illatosítót kaptunk), penészes ablakkal, a 3. napon a kirándulásról visszaérve nem volt parkolóhely, Intézkedés nem történt, sőt reakció sem. A szállást még aznap elhagytuk.

L’orario del check-in era alle 14, ma la camera non era pronta e se non avessi chiamato io, l’host non mi avrebbe avvisata. I muri sono fatti di carta e gli altri ospiti (maleducati e chiassosi) hanno reso impossibile dormire prima dell’1 (nonostante la fascia del silenzio).

De kamer was in de kelder en erg klein. Het had wel een raam maar dat kwam uit in de gezamelijke ruimte. Er was dus geen frisse lucht.
Klachten over het slot van de badkamer werden pas na drie dagen opgelost.
De kamer had geen terras zoals in de beschrijving stond. Er was wel een gezamelijk terras 3 trappen op.

Ansonsten ist es sehr Oldschool, aber das steht ja quasi auch im Namen

Purtroppo non era pulita: la cucina era infestata dalle formiche, anche la nostra camera era abbastanza sporca (abbiamo trovato 3 scarafaggi). Se solo si investisse nella pulizia sarebbe una struttura di eccellenza che non avrebbe nulla da invidiare agli hotel di lusso :(

Rugalmatlanság, egy perccel sem lehet elfoglalni hamarabb a szállást a technikára hívatkozva, ehhez képest csak másfél órával később tudtuk elfoglalni. Az esetleges hamarabb elfoglalást 30 perc - 1 órával hamarabbra próbáltuk kérni, mert a forgalom gördülékeny volt és nem szerettük volna a nagy melegben a kocsiban hagyni a cuccainkat, élelmet is.
A parkolók nagyon szűkösek, a lentebb ill. fentebb lévő szállásoktól lehetne példát venni és 1 parkolóhely feláldozásával kicsit szélesebbeket kijelölni.
Az ígért tengerparti kilátás az alsó szintre nem igaz.
Az egyik szobában a meleg víz használatakor mint egy fúvós zenekar játszott volna olyan zajt csapott, ez különösen kellemetlen este.
Az ígéret ellenére (külön meg volt kérdezve üzenetben) az egyik szobában nem állt rendelkezésre hajszárító.
Kinti nagy kuka nagyon alul van méretezve a szálláshelyhez, inkább már bent zacskózva gyűjtöttük az üres palackokat is, mert kint az utcára csak nem dobja az ember.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Misleading Accommodation Description

I feel extremely disappointed and misled by my stay at Old Road Rooms and Apartment.
I specifically chose this accommodation because of the balcony and the advertised view. These were important factors in my decision, especially because I wanted to surprise my partner for their birthday.
However, the room we received was completely different from what we expected. We were given a room facing a back street and parked cars, with the cars literally about one metre from the window. There was constant movement and activity directly outside the room, making it extremely difficult to relax or get any proper rest. We also had virtually no privacy, as keeping the curtains open was not an option.
What makes this even more disappointing is that we paid essentially the same price for a room that did not provide the features we specifically selected the property for.
I had planned this stay as a birthday surprise for my partner. Unfortunately, due to the poor conditions and lack of privacy, we ended up trying to spend as little time as possible in the apartment. This completely ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion.
I am also very dissatisfied with the way the problem was handled. Communication was conducted only by telephone, with no proper personal contact or meaningful attempt to resolve the situation on site.
In my opinion, the way the accommodation is presented to Booking.com customers is misleading. Guests should be able to trust that the advertised features, particularly something as significant as a balcony and a view, accurately represent what they are booking.
I expect an appropriate explanation and compensation for the significant difference between what was advertised and the accommodation we actually received.
I will also be sharing our experience on relevant review and travel platforms so that other customers can make an informed decision before booking this accommodation.

L'ambiente non è curato, la pulizia della stanza, il cambio asciugamani, lo svuotamento della spazzatura, in una settimana di permanenza, non ci sono stati.
La posizione, poi, se senza mezzi, non è agevole in quanto in salita con pendenza assassina. Ma è un'ottima palestra gratuita!

We booked the apartment and a superior bedroom with sea view. The apartment description said it had a living room, but it doesn't. It has a large cupboard with a few kitchen counters, two heating plates and a small table and chairs. It's more a kitchen facility than a living room as only two people can stand up in it as that's about the only free space. The bedroom would have had a sea view for a nine foot tall person standing on a chair outside but the vegetation in the neighboring property is overgrown and obscures any view.

Check-in was a bit of a fiasco as no one was there to hand over the keys and no door code was issued until much later after arrival. Another guest let us in and used some sort of secret code to access the keysafe for our room. Without them we would have been stuck.

The property states that parking is available which is true but there is not enough space for all guests so it was a bit of a towels-on-sunbeds moment each morning to get a space if you couldn't park the other day before.
