Best homestay I’ve had in Indonesia!! Such a peaceful place to stay. The room was so clean and wonderfully maintained. The owners take great care of the entire property, and were so kind. They let me check in early, and even brought my bags to my room for me! The garden of this homestay is also beautifully maintained and cushions a lot of noise from the surrounding areas, plus it’s on a peaceful lovely street (grab and gojek can reach you here). It’s quiet and serene at this place. I got wonderful sleep, and the AC got so cold! I had a room on the terrace and absolutely loved it. There was even a privacy divider on the terrace between the other room so it was completely private (I never even saw anyone else despite the rooms being full). I could’ve stayed long term here! Will definitely be back. 😊

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mitten in Ubud – sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Geschäfte sind schnell und bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte eine gute Klimaanlage, ein bequemes Bett, einen Kühlschrank mit ein paar Flaschen Wasser sowie Tisch und Schrank. Am Abend gab es allerdings einige Insekten, was in Ubud aufgrund der tropischen Umgebung nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt sind die Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Diese waren etwas grau und teilweise fleckig. Leider ist das auf Bali auch in vielen anderen Unterkünften so. Wer diesbezüglich empfindlich ist, sollte vielleicht eigene Handtücher mitbringen.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist allerdings wirklich unschlagbar. Besonders schön ist der sehr gepflegte und wunderschöne Garten – eine kleine grüne Oase mitten in Ubud. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

The hotel has a great location, just a 7–10 minute walk from Ubud Palace. I would especially like to highlight the cleanliness and the amazing massage therapist, Wayan. I can confidently say that she is the best in Ubud. I will definitely come back again next summer.

As a solo female traveler, I felt so lucky to stay at Home Stay Evo! The location is super convenient, with tons of great restaurants and cafés right nearby. It is within easy walking distance to famous spots like Radiantly Alive Yoga and a quick motorbike ride to the School of Unified Healing, which made it the perfect base for my spiritual learning and healing in Ubud. The homestay is wonderfully affordable for a long-term stay, and I loved looking out at the beautiful garden every morning. Most importantly, Waya and her family are incredibly friendly, warm, and made me feel completely at home.

Good location, very clean and modern rooms

Absolutely loved my stay at Evo Homestay! 🌿🤍 Such a beautiful, peaceful little slice of Bali with lush surroundings, a lovely authentic Balinese feel and genuinely warm hospitality.

The location was perfect for exploring Ubud and getting to yoga, and the value for money was incredible. It felt much more like staying in a home than a hotel, which made the whole experience so special.

I would 100% stay here again and couldn’t recommend it enough! 🌴✨

Fantastic room in a truly tranquil garden, just a couple minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of ubud center but really feels worlds away. The room, tidy, clean and modern would make more sense as part of a luxury resort for 100x the price. Here it is an absolute steal!! I will be staying here again should i have the fortune to be able to. They also offer discounts to guests on scooter rental, a well looked after scooter which was a pleasure to ride.

It was a really beautiful place, the garden was lush, and enclosing; you feel like you enter a cozy oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. The garden was well maintained.

My room was great; the bed cozy, the balcony was nice and private. The view from the balcony was also really lovely - lots of trees etc.

Wayan and Pandi, host siblings were so lovely! Really kind, friendly and cool people with great energy. It was nice to have chats as they were on the property. Wayan’s really funny, warm & great company! I also used the spa services: waxing & masssage. Wayans 20 years of experience really showed. Everyone on the property were really nice. They’d greet me when I left & entered. Just genuinely kind & warm people. Their presence made my stay.

As a private person , looking for zero social pressure & to relax, Evo homestay was perfect. You were left to your own devices and only a WhatsApp message away from attentive, quick service (request to clean room, extra toiletries, new towels)

I stayed for about 2 weeks and would gladly have extended. Its proximity to the center & feeling of being secluded was perfect. during the time I stayed there was construction next door; once that’s complete - it’s a very peaceful place.

I had a great stay here. The room was very clean, and the staff responded quickly to all of my requests. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax, while still being convenient to get around. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.

Nice and neat

Ekstremt hyggelig familie, de var så hjelpsomme og var alltid til hjelp om man trengte tips til steder å besøke i ubud, eller om du trengte noe på rommet! Jeg ble dessverre matforgiftet på restaurant, men da jeg kom tilbake hjalp eieren med medisin og vann. Veldig omtenksomt.

I really enjoyed my four-night stay. The room is clean and quiet with a view of a garden. Great place to escape the chaos of Ubud’s busy main drag. Some great restaurants nearby. It’s a 12-minute walk to Ubud Palace so it’s in a convenient location.

Le logement est bien situé, proche de la rue principale mais au calme. La chambre était propre, le personnel très gentil et il y a même la possibilité de profiter d’un massage dans le jardin de l’homestay.
