I had stayed in a little house in Baka for 3 nights 2 weeks ago. This was one night just as I was getting ready to leave Israel. Room was nicer than Baka, but breakfast was not nearly as plentiful. It was walkable from the hotel where my program housed me, and a good price so I selected it for the one night. Overall was a good experience.
Breakfast was not as plentiful with selections, especially not having anything but instant coffee.

Litt gammelt og slitt, og veldig enkel standard. Ubetjent, noe som ble et problem da jeg ikke fikk koder og romnummer som avtalt. Måtte ringe et par ganger før det ble ordnet. Ingen parkering i nærheten

Very convenient for a business stay in the city (near Jerusalem Theater).
The decor has seen better days. The place could use a remodeling. The mattress was so-so, but I was able to get a good night's sleep. I think a huge step would be to renew the bedding and towels and have professional laundry services take care of the bleaching. This is why I didn't give the place a higher rating. That and the breakfast: very limited and unappealing presentation. Also, no coffee. However, even with all that, I would consider returning for future work projects because of the location and price. There are plenty of cafes in the neighborhood, so one can forgo the breakfast. If the mattress, bedding and towels are improved, it will bring up ratings for sure.
The location was excellent for our purposes, and so was the welcome. The person who welcomed us was helpful and gave us directions when we asked him.He also offered to help with anything else we might need. The beds were comfortable.
Smell of something chemical (spray?) in the room and bathroom. There was no net on the window, so we couldn't open it, because when we did, a pigeon flew in and at night there were mosquitos, so we didn't sleep so well.
When we came into the room, there was an empty plastic bottle on the floor, which made us wonder how well the room was cleaned.
As I said, the smell in the room and the bathroom, and that of the bedsheets wasn't very inviting...
