De locatie is uitstekend, het centrum ligt op wandelafstand waarbij je al heel wat mooie handelszaken en kerken passeert - de basiliek ligt enkele minuten de andere kant uit. Het is een prachtig historisch pand dat erg luxe aandoet. Je kan je auto vlak voor de deur op straat of in de beveiligde parking (10 euro meerprijs) kwijt. De superior tweepersoonskamer is erg ruim, proper, comfortabel en karaktervol ingericht. Hondvriendelijk! Restaurant met bijzonder democratische prijzen.
Geen airco aanwezig, maar er staat wel een ventilator op de kamer. Gelukkig koelde het 's avonds buiten erg af - met de grote ramen open was het aangenaam slapen. Er is geen (mini)frigo op de kamer.
