Great place to stay in the heart of Nelson!
Pros:

What a perfect way to begin our honeymoon! Sam from guest services was very responsive and set us up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bottle of champagne presented in a lovely stand. The room was exceptionally clean and modern with a big comfy bed an awesome shower with some of the best toiletries we've ever experienced. Complimentary loofahs were a really nice touch too.
Overall one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Parking can be an issue as there is no dedicated parking for the hotel so you have to find street parking. The staff were however very helpful to make sure we found parking nearby which was luckily free due to it being Canada Day.

The continental breakfast offered is decent but tough for someone with sensitivities to sugar/gluten.

Das Hotel ist an bester Lage um die Kleinstadt Nelson zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind nicht überaus gross, aber sehr sauber und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Würden es sofort wieder buchen.

Love the Oak Hotel. I can’t imagine staying anywhere els in Nelson
Pros:

Very comfortable and spotless rooms.
Excellent staff and great location.

Cons:

No elevator and no dedicated parking.

Beautiful decor, efficient use of space, nothing essential missing, modern, price was exceptional for the quality.

Great stay in a fantastic location and a price that could not be beat
Pros:

Check in was easy, the room was great! Only place in the are we could get a King bed for the two of us without paying a HUGE uncharge, comfortable with very thoughtful touches throughout

A Gem in the Perfect Location
Pros:

A wonderful stay! The property has a modern design, is spotlessly clean, and is filled with thoughtful personal touches that make it feel welcoming and special. The owners are very hands-on and genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The location is perfect and close to everything while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended!

You need to walk up to the rooms. It’s only a problem if you have mobility issues.
