Lovely space, facilities, staff, amenities, location and comfortable beds!
No problems here but if you have mobility issues the stairs may be hard for you!
Well situated, and though it was louder in the evening being so close to a number of pubs etc, they did provide earplugs. It’s right in the town, so very close to amenities, and feels very secure with the keypad lock for entry to the building.
Room was a little smaller than anticipated and would have loved a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities that were not communal.

Very dusty very dark room and felt claustrophobic no tea n coffee in the room had to go down stairs to the kitchen area
The location was great, the facilities were excellent - the building was wonderfully converted. The staff who showed us to our room was very friendly
The only thing I didn't like was that the mattress was an old style with springs and my back hurt the next morning. With all the memory foam mattresses available, it would take very little to buy new mattresses.
Almost everything and a great location.
There were a couple of items missing from the kitchen.waahing up liquid. Microwave would be good Also the shower cannot be adjusted and is very hot. Probably just needs de liming.

The building is located immediately adjacent to several night clubs in the party zone of York; you can expect throbbing music into the wee hours.

That 1 member of staff and 2 door staff came up to the room ready to kick us out as they found it suspicious that we could afford the room because of the way we looked I wish I hadn't stayed there and I won't ever stay and I will be advising other not to either
